Sathorn Saint View is located close to the Surasak BTS. It is situated in a quiet lane however is completely safe as there are locals staying. They have a restaurant in house and also have a small cafe next door. Its value for money as their Grand executive rooms will hardly cost you anything.

I arrived after midnight and was fine, room was clean+spacious with AC,tv, and good wifi. Most importantly the staff were so helpful and professional. So many facilities onsite, both laundromat and same day laundry service. Roof pool+gym were just as advertised with no skyscrapers to block the sun. Within 10 mins walking distance of Skytrain and loads of street food, not to mention...

Many reviewers have given this place a bad rap but I expect many were in Bangkok for the first time and had unrealistic expectations regarding value for money. It really was ok - beds were a bit old but fine, staff were helpful and the pool was clean. Yes the place is old and run-down but everything (except the exercise...

In a nice quiet location but in walking distance from the BTS line. Very nice staff but room a bit dated & could do with a new mattress & a paint but for the price it's value for money & would think about monthly rental when in BKK.

Sathorn Saint View (SSV) offered good value for money. Hotel staff is helpful and kind. They speak good English and offer good advice. The rooms are spacy and well equiped. WiFi is only available in the lounge which is really not so convinient, but as I anyway had my own local sim card, its not really a backdraw. The location...

We love this place and stay there everytime in BKK. The location is great! 5 min walk from BTS but it is not easy to find it for the first time. Many vendors and 7/11 around. The terrace should be renovated, as well as the rest of hotel, the pool is ok. It is worth your money :)

If you looking for something cheap and no more then 1 week this variant for you. In my room on 2nd floor I have a conditionair, refrigerator. Too expansive internet (even for month). The little gecko lives in my bathroom like a cockroaches, ants and other spiders. Location of SSV is so strange. But if you like adventures and walking...

We booked this hotel because we wanted something cheap before travelling on to Krabi. We paid approximately 60 USD for 3 nights so I guess you cannot go much cheaper than that. This is also a place where people rent monthly or even yearly. Apparently it is cheaper to stay here than in an apartment in Bangkok. But... you also...

I booked this as it was the cheapest hotel closest to the Australian Embassy where I had to visit. Overtly the foyer is ok, but stairs everywhere! As Im partially disabled this was an issue, some of the steps just to get to the elevator were over 1 foot high! The manager was a camp version of Basil Fawlty (2nd...

Staying in Sathorn

Neighbourhood Profile
Sathorn
Sathorn is Bangkok’s central business district, but here you’ll find much more than international banks and suited-up office workers. Take a stroll along the small alleys between the skyscrapers and you’ll find yourself among Bangkokians living life at a much slower pace. Feast on fantastic Thai food which you can find in the town-house restaurants, office food courts and sidewalk food stalls spread all over the area, especially around St. Louis Hospital. A visit to Sathorn is not complete without a drink at one of the glitzy sky bars perched atop its skyscrapers.
