Very beautiful hotel!!! I loved my colourful and modern room. Everything was very well cleaned and seemed quite new. The staff was nice and did its utterly best to help me out with questions about cooking classes in Bangkok. And when my aircon was going crazy and didn't seem to work they just gave me a new room without making...

Nothing to complain about. Clean Hotel, discret and nice staff. Situated in nice quiet end of street, with good food and massage possibilities walking towards the sizzling street of Sukhumvit. Often you are offered a free tuk-tuk ride by the staff the app. 400 m to Sukhumvit road

"Compact and Bijou" would be an estate agent's way of desbribing the rooms at the Sawasdee in Soi 8 just off Sukhumvit in Bangkok.. and they would not be far wrong. The room was clean, if a little cluttered due to lack of real storage space for an extended stay. but for anything under 5/7 days, you should be ok...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
