The Hotel is not easy to find and is a little out of the way and not so easy to locate. There are many places to eat in the area and the night markets of Patpong Road are in walking distance. Entertainment is available in the district. Staff seem to standoff from guests but the rooms are clean. Security is...

The Sunflower Place is a comfortable and nice low-budget hostel in downtown Bangkok, close to Silom metro station and Sala Daeng skytrain station. The beautiful Lumphini park is at a short walking distance. It's a perfect place if you're staying in Bangkok only for a couple of nights before moving onwards, or if you don't need any unnecessary luxury. Our...

My brother and I stayed here for just a night travelling from Siem Reap to Koh Tao. The location is somewhat difficult to find, but they give good directions on how to find them, so just follow along and you won't have any problems. If I remember correctly, they have water/tea in the lobby for you, which we really appreciated....

An okay hotel, but prepare your patience The old, grumpy lady receptionist made it difficult for us to check in. She was furious that she couldn’t find our booking via Agoda that has already been confirmed and paid—very far from the Thai hospitality that they’re famous about. She also is having a hard time communicating in English. She even shouted...

After much deliberation on wether to go for a hostel or hotel, we decided to spend (a little) bit more on a hotel with A/C as it was our first nights in Bangkok. Sunflower place is spotless, the rooms, beds and bathrooms are clean. Its quiet, tucked away down a small side street which may seem a little dodgy at...

This is a lovely guest house in the heart of Silom. Situated in between Silom rd and Surawong rd it gives you a range of great food options. Room is exceptionally clean and spacious - enjoyed the touch of colour on walls etc to brighten up the room. Big fridge and great shower makes for the perfect place to relax...

While it is a little difficult to find (the Silom 6 road is on the right as you walk up Silom Road, the directions don't tell you which side of this very wide road it is), the hostel is very good and central. Would recommend it.

Sunflower is located in the exciting and "colorful" Silom section of Bangkok. Its location and facilities are quite good. Beware, though, of being nickeled and dimed; e.g. the laundry service offered is astronomically more expensive than a local service would be. Ask around before handing over your delicates. Also, the security deposit on the key can be a killer. Don't...

Sunflower Place is clean, spacious and affordable accommodation located in the heart of Bangkok (near MRT/subway stations). The attendants are very hospitable and accommodating. Despite short notice, they assisted us in selecting and booking cultural shows. They also provided us with maps and the hostel address (in Thai) to be provided to cab drivers in case we get lost. Free...
