Merlin Lodge is neither the typical Airbnb, nor a typical small guest house, but something in between. Located 20 minutes SW of the main shopping and tourist areas, it is immediately next to a BTS (skytrain) station and has bus stops both ways, just outside the door. We stayed here for 6 nights , the owner picked us up from the airport and that was the best part it all goes downhill after that ....the place does not have an elevator so you carry your bags up 3-4 floors depending on which room is assigned, there is no minimart as shown in the pictures, no breakfast included,...

First of all, I would like to say that the owner, Ken, was an excellent host. He was very helpful by asking all of our questions, giving us hints and tips about Bangkok, and generally being a nice person to chat to. The location of the place is also great, right outside Punnawithi BTS Station, making access to downtown Bangkok...

I stayed in this hotel in May 2013 for 5 days. I was little worried as in the begining, because I was landing bangkok in the early morning 3.00a.m. But hotel owner Ken was waiting for me in the airport.
