Recently stayed here and found it to be entirely adequate for my needs. Staff very polite and friendly. Situated close to two Skytrain stations. Room good size though bathroom a little small and rainhead shower, whilst great, could result in partial flooding of bathroom since drain evidently couldn't cope with the volume of water. Also, lighting controls by the bed...

I just came across with this hotel online while I was planning my holiday in BKK. We took the deluxe room at a promotional rate. I was surprised by that cozy feeling the hotel gives you. The room was nicely decorated and they had a nice bed. The break fast was ok, however this hotel lacks A gym and a...

Hotel is a few minutes' walk from main road - Sukhumvit Road. Upsides are: it's new, quiet, and its service staff are polite and professional, chambermaid friendly and Tann, the tuktuk driver who drove us to the BTS station on 3 of the 4 mornings (we decided to walk it on the 4th) is a warm and helpful fellow. I'll...

Getting to air terminal was a problem. I asked the hotel receptionist when I was about to check out that, if he could arrange for a taxi for me to Makassan Air terminal within 5- 10 minutes. The receptionist asked me to first bring down my luggage and check out then he would arrange for a taxi. I came down...

I stayed at Kingston Suites for a week in Feb 2011 and was very satisfied. Very good location, nice room and helpful staff. However, the highlight was meeting my taxi driver, Prasert Kaosart nicknamed King Kong. Not only a great driver, he is also very knowledgeable about Bangkok and extremely reasonable in his fares. He was not only my driver...

A quiet, cosy hotel tucked away in one of the lanes. Seriously, this is possibly the only downside(other than the limited choice at breakfast). No doubt, they have the tuk-tuk to ferry you to the nearest BTS, but sometimes it wasn't available and we had to wait. Other than that, it was right in the middle of action-sooo many eateries...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
