The hotel was simple but the essentials were there. It was quite clean and the position was excellent, just in front of the train station and underground station. Suggested for who wants to be in an strategic position in Bangkok and who is looking for a modest but good value for money hotel.

We stayed here as a family of 5 for 2 nights. We hired 2 rooms, the room used by me and my husband was clean and relatively spacious, a little basic but it contained everything we needed. The room occupied by our children was clean but very cramped, three teenage girls in a twin room plus a roll out bed,...

Great location, easy to find and you can be at the railwaystation in 5 min or less. Hostel itself is clean, wifi available at all levels and with decent speed (not the fastest, but definetly not the slowest one on out travels). Room was good as well, airconditioned, fridge, clean and with a great shower. Service: We checked out at...

We were at this hotel for the 4th time. Every year the room prices became a Bit higher, but its still ok. 750-1250 baht. The rooms are clean, quite and all have aircon and comfortable beds. The staff is nice and can give you good advices how to get to the tourist places and which are interessting. The restaurant downstairs...

this combination of hostel and hotel is a great option if you start or finish a train trip as it is only a minute walking distance from the station. good rooms with clean bathrooms. good waiting area - perfect before the trip after you check out. and good storage options even long term.

I stayed at this hotel because of the location - I arrived in Bangkok by train and left the next day by train so it was perfect for me. I had a single room and although it was very small, it was exceptionally clean and very modern. Even though the hotel is on a busy street, I had a room...

Thank you so much for your valuable comments. Our food prices are more expensive than street foods but quite the same or cheaper than foods in modern standard restaurants. By the way, we guarantee taste and quality.

It is what it is. A cheap place to stay located right next to the MRT and close to the station. Its not as cheap to eat there as other places so take a walk outside and eat at @siam for example. Dont expect luxury. Just expect a decent enough place to sleep whilst you enjoy the city.

The location is really good and the rooms are good and clean but a bit small, the most terrible thing there was the wifi, you might not think it's a problem but you won't be able to find wifi easily in Thailand for free, so you always look forward to the wifi in your hotel in which wasn't working for...

Its a good place if you need to be close to the main station which makes sense as traffic in the evening is bad. The hotel does not offer much else. Rooms are decent and clean. It has a cafe which serves decent stuff at not very low prices. The lift at the hotel is too slow - you would...

I've never stayed at a hostel before so I'm happy to say that this place exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. It was clean, the AC worked well, and the restaurant downstairs had good food/coffee. The only down sides were how thin the walls seemed to be (noise level) and the staff (not friendly). However for the...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
