We didn't what to expect from this place when we read the reviews from TA. Decided that we should give it a try as there were some positive reviews. Definitely needs updating but due to their unique and strange decor, its defects blended well. We were in a party of 3 groups. Our room had the theme of 'Rice' while...

Stayed in room 305 which had a private rooftop. Loved it! Huge room, comfortable bed, excellent shower, and very soft towels. :) The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. With so many unique rooms, it's very hard to choose which one. They offer that you can stay in a different one each night. Breakfast buffet was good with fried...

Good for backpakers, even a bit to pricey. First the room didn't look at all as we saw when we book this hotel . I found a condom and a string in the room, big smell of humidity and not super clean, dark, a small window . At least the staff was kind but didn't propose us a better room...

This hotel looks like a film studio from the sixties. Each room has a particular theme. This hotel is a must see in Bangkok. Within walking distance from the BTS station Saphan Kwai, it's located near the famous weekend market Jatujak. They have daily and monthly rates. Downstairs is a Thai restaurant with reasonable price and a Thai ice cream...

I have respect for Trip Advisor reviewers and realize that all reviews are ultimately very subjective in nature, but having said that, I am genuinely confounded at all the very positive that Mystic Place has earned. Having both lived in Thailand and visited multiple times, I am familiar with the hotel scene in BKK and Thailand generally. I am also...

Great find. Im sure when this place opened it was very impressive. Now it's a little dated and rough around the edges, but this is more than compensated for by being so cheap. Staff are great, rooms interesting, breakfast OK and location excellent. Glad I've found this place. By far the best budget place Ive stayed in in Bangkok.

Short distance from the BTS station, but might be a chore if u have luggage. There's quite a few street vendors and 7-11s within walking distance. The hotel's lobby is actually connected to a cafe, and there's a rather popular dessert store across the road. Had a whole lot of people there the night I checked in and some were...

I stayed here on the advice of a friend. Its comfortable, well located and good value. Proximity to the train line to downtown is a plus in congested Bangkok. The staff at Mystic Place are super helpful. That is the main reason that my friends return to this kooky little hotel when they are in town to shop at Chatuchak....

I stayed here for the simple reason that it's nearest to Chatuchak market and it has the most great ratings/reviews from Tripadvisor community. What I liked here: Free tuktuk ride to Chatuchak and nearest BTS Station, Very Helpful & Friendly Staff, so many hawker food stalls right outside the hotel, accessible location, freedom to choose different artsy rooms, good breakfast...

The style in the rooms are cool- just like pictured. The building was secure, the room was large, Internet worked really well, AC kept the place comfortable, and shower temperature was perfect. Not too far of a walk from the sky train. Staff is very helpful and kind. Good breakfast in the morning with some unique choices. And they have...
