The staff was incredibly nice and just cool people to talk to. The rooms had large lockers which was nice and the showers/bathrooms were always really clean. If you're staying in Bangkok this should be the only hostel you consider.

The women's dorm is quiet and clean with extremely comfy beds. The building itself is interesting and is nicely situation in Oldtown near some good eateries and local sites. It's also a comfortable distance from Khao San so you can avoid the tourist trap if you want or if you're keen you can easily get there by walking (30min) or...

We spent a week here when we first arrived in Bangkok and it was very comfortable. Rooms were clean and private. Did not have trouble with noise. Laundry can be dropped off at the front desk and picked up the next day. Front desk was very helpful with suggesting restaurants, giving directions and answering general questions. Stairs are a bit...

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights on 10th November. Nice little room, very clean. If you want to be close to koh san road then this hostel is ideal. Staff extremely helpful and all for a cheap price. Would recommend and would stay again.

This hostel is certainly not upscale, and has a one story climb with steep stairs to get to our room. So, I would certainly recommend this for younger travelers. The hotel staff really cares about you and tries to make your trip the best they can. One of them just waited 10 minutes with us to make sure we got...

Niras was the first place I stayed at the beginning of my Southeast Asia trip (2 months ago) and it's still my favorite accommodation I've had! I always recommend it to other travelers that I meet who are headed to Bangkok. Highlights: 1. Atmosphere--I really loved the social vibe at this hostel. People tend to congregate in the coffee shop/lobby...

I have loved every minute at this hostel. The staff especially are really good and very helpful. The rooms are great, much better than most hostels i have been in for the same price! I will be returning to Bangkok near Christmas time, and i will definitely stay here again!

This hostel is a great find in Bangkok! It's walking distance to Khao San Road and to the main train station (20 minutes). It's situated on a big street, so there are always cabs and tuk tuks to hail from outside. The staff at the hostel are really friendly and happy to help with recommendations and anything you may need....

Great location - away from the noise of Khao San but close enough to walk there. Very friendly staff, family run. Excellent breakfast and the rooms are lovely. TV and DVDs to watch if you want to chill out too. One of the nicest places I've stayed!

The staff were very helpful, kind and friendly. The rooms were very clean. Big lockers to store bags. Made very nice coffees for communal area and had lots of books and brochures about the area. It also has the MOST amazing Pad Thai place opposite, definitely worth a visit there.
