We stayed here in mid-December 2011 as we wanted to explore the Chatuchak Weekend Market. It is a great location as it was able a 10 minute walk from the market.
We stayed in a double bed room which was quite pricey @ 1100B per...More
There's absolutetly nothing to complain about the hostel itsself, which is indeed very clean and modern. The private room we had was on the ground floor - I personally prefer to have a look out of the window, but they made the most out of...More
UDEE Bangkok is very well located & before you arrive the Udee Staff tells you how to reach them by various modes of transportation with all the details which is very good thing. Its location is such that moving around Bangkok seems very easy by...More
Udee is a great little hostel with one of the best dorms i have ever stayed in. While not huge, they have a lot of plus points including wide, comfy bunk beds, strong a/c, good wifi, individual lights and plug sockets etc. The dorms and...More

The owners of the hostel have the best information on getting around so my suggestion is to tell them where you want to go and they will show you the best way. The hostel is a little far from the city center but you can take a cab, tuk tuk, or bus (there's a free bus, I think it was number 3). The free bus is crowded, old, and doesn't have AC but there's also another bus that is much nicer for a nominal fee. Taxi is fairly cheap specially if you are in a group; tuk tuks cannot always be trusted. With either taxi's or tuk tuks, make sure you negotiate the price before getting on. The Skytrain isn't bad either but it reaches limited areas.
