Older place, but well maintained. Comfortable, good-sized room. Staff was solicitous. I stayed during a protest, so access was a bit tricky from the Democracy Monument side, but the staff was always available to let me in and out. Nice breakfast.
checked in and paid was given an awful room you could not swing a cat round in no windows . Complained at reception and was told we would have to pay again for an upgrade.I tried to explain that I had already booked and paid for a superior room but to no avail.asked for my money to be returned but was refused.had no choice but to hand over more money. for the rest of our stay we were ignored and even the a/c was switched off in our room the morning we were leaving even though we had paid for the day
Perfect place to stay. Near to some temples and you can go by foot to Khaosan road and the kings palace. Room was clean and quiet, Air Con works perfectly. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a quiet road and looks like a green oase.
Very nice hotel on a great location in the center of Bangkok on a quiet side street near the Democracy Monument. The entrance of the hotel is absolutely faboulous, the rooms are clean and have funny furniture, beds are comfortable and breakfast is great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this very pleasant place!
Stayed here whilst exploring Bangkok.....superbly located at the heart of the tourist district! Clean & super friendly, helpful staff...only down side is breakfast is very slow & limited in choice... also bathroom/shower room very tight in space....but overall a very pleasant & comfortable stay ❤️
We spent 3 nights. The location is on a quiet side street close to the democracy monument and not far from attractions. We walked or used the Grab app (recommended) to get around. Hotel staff were very helpful in providing information and recommendations. Our room was basic but met all our needs. The AC was effective and quiet. The shower had good water pressure and temperature control, but it leaked onto the tile floor. I had to duck to get under the shower head. No big deal. Shampoo and body wash were provided in pump containers, bring your own if you prefer bar soap. The 2 single beds were firm but comfortable. We returned to our room in the heat of the afternoon twice and the housekeeper hadn't got to us yet. She supplied fresh towels and water for the mini-fridge which was enough for us. Breakfast was a fruit plate, toast, tea or coffee, and eggs cooked to order with a strip of bacon. We tried scrambled and the omelet and both were good. The dining area is not air conditioned but it has fans. I tried to use the TV to watch an NFL playoff game but it didn't work. A very minor disappointment, we didn't come to Thailand to watch TV. This is a good choice for those looking for 2-3 star accommodations at a reasonable price. Oh yes, you can get an ice cream cone for 10 baht at the McDonald's a few 100 meters away. And enjoy the air conditioning while you eat it!…
The rooms are the simpliest, but our was clean. The staff is nice, they smiled at us all the time. Location is great! Most of the sights are in walking distance. Kao Shan road is a few hundred meters (but this street is calm and quiet). The breakfest includes every day the same: coffee/tee, butter + toast, ham and egg (type can be chosen)
Myself, wife, and two relatives stayed here for 5 days recently and we're very pleased with the property. I strongly recommend it to Western travellers, and recommend to everyone else. We had a room for 4 adults. It was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large. Hot water was plentiful and easy to regulate. There is a combo tub/shower. Guests are requested not to flush toilet paper. A room sink eased the morning bathroom crush. Bottled water was given daily. Beds were firm and comfortable. Linens were in good shape. Breakfast was included, Western style, not large but sufficient. The hotel is invisible from the street but is quite attractive inside. WiFi not usable on 4th floor despite attempted repairs. Location is good near Khaosan road. Very quiet at night. Tuk-tuks and taxi easily flagged down, water bus nearby. Excellent staff speaks decent english, all shifts. Loved the place!…
This hotel was exactly what we wanted for our three nights in Bangkok. The room was basic but it was large and very clean and the bed was firm but comfortable. We slept well--it was extremely quiet at night. A hot breakfast was provided every morning with fresh fruit, tea or coffee, toast, and a choice of eggs all served with a smile. The location is very convenient--close to Khao San Road and less than a thirty minute walk to the the temples. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Bangkok.
The hotel was very clean. Location is in the heart of the night life. Everything close to the hotel. The staff was smiling everytime and helpful. We have forgot something in the hotel but they send it to Phuket to us. Veeeerry helpful and nice people. Next time in Bangkok, i will stay in this hotel again and again. Thanks for everything.
