We had a late book in due to the arrival time, the hotel check in was busy and the young lady was getting a little bit flustered do to a lack of English not only on her part but also on the part of people trying to book in. I'm not being racist here I'm making a point for the...

Heard good reviews about this hotel a few years back. Have stayed in nearby hotels on previous occasions and in comparison, the nearby hotels are much better by being well maintained and simpler room designs. It is not exactly run down but the design for the hotel reminds me of the popular Indonesian 1970s typical designs. And it does seem...

I found the female front desk staff who were working around 3pm check-in time to be surly and rude. I'd pre-requested a high floor, double bed but on arrival was asked to take a twin room which I said no. She told me there was only 2nd floor doubles - I offered to take a look but then without saying...

We stayed in their Heritage Trio Room for 2 rooms (we are 6) and it was huge, I think 5 - 6 persons will fit into it. Check in was okay, we had a late one around 11PM since we had to visit other places to make out most of our time. When we get into the room, we noticed...

The most ugly and dirty hotel we've seen in thailand! We didn't feel comfortable here, everything was little bit broken, destroyed or just dirty. We were expecting nice hotel, because it has 4 stars and it wasn't cheap, but we were very unpleasantly surprised. Pool on the roof was also dirty and the water was spoiled!

Hotel room was big and location was accessible to BTS. However room was run down and the hotel did not respond to my email requests at all. They also did not assign a high level room facing the main road.

I was staying in the hotel for a day due to a day transit in Bangkok. I arrived in the hotel at 12.30pm. The male staff who worked in the counter was not friendly. He asked me to wait for 2.00 pm to check in. When I came back at 2.00pm, he did not even bother to entertain me when...

I stayed there for about 9 days and it was horrible except the location. When I checked in to the room, there were a lot of problems. There were not much room amenities such as tissue and slippers. That is ok. I understand but when I called the reception to ask about it, she said 'go to seven eleven!' I...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
