First of all I have to say that the room we have booked and all other is as expected. Second, i have to say that communication and service is the worst. We arrived, the first we got the wrong room. We booked the more expensive one to have a Balkony and river view because we had to wait for the Covid test. So balkony and bigger room is useful. First we got the wrong room for 5 hours, so we had to wait in a small uncomfortable room to get the test result. After asking three times it was possible to change to the room we booked. We arrived at 7:30, my test Result came at 15:55…that’s okay. The test result of my wife came at 19:28 because they had struggle with the name that’s also okay. But no one told us information about the status, and everything else. We got food but no one told us the time for it or everything else . I always had to ask and make trouble to get Informationen abut everything. Sorry but it’s not recommended to book that hotel in corona time. Unorganized and no Informationen….never again…
When we first arrived, the room we were give had window with a view to a wall with just a tiny space showing you the outside that was a little lot with garbage. Because I knew the hotel wasn’t full, I asked for a new room which they kindly gave me. Pros: The rooms and the hotel were beautiful and clean. In an area of the world that gets intense rainy seasons, a room that didn’t smell musty was big bonus. The pool area was also nice. The staff was all kind during our interactions. Cons: We had a hard time getting our room cleaned. We had to ask multiple times in one day even after doing all the asking, they still never came. The bar and restaurant were both closed probably because of COVID so you can’t fault them for that. The area of Bangkok it is in is not very convenient- I didn’t realize this until after being there. Taxis are pretty cheap, but the train stations aren’t close by.…
Arrived 8am, PCR-test on side at 11am, result at 7pm. For a couple the room is quite small. The food, breakfast, lunch and dinner was very good though. Book a room with balcony! Gives more light, space and more to see while you wait for the result. Furniture a little bit dated.
The hotel was not what we expected at all. The pictures, clearly taken about 10 years ago the decor is now old and dated. I would really avoid. We chose here because we could have an onsite PCR, that was at least smooth. Whenever we went to the desk there was no one there to help! We always had to ask for clean set of towles, only ever left 1 set. And corridors look like a hospital; it's really off putting. I didn't feel like I was in clean covid free hotel. Pool was small and univiting, and bar not open. The only plus is enjoying the wildlife on the river. I would not come back. For the price you can stay somewhere else a lot nicer, more convenient and value for money
The room was a health hazard with broken flooring and cigarettes/buds left in the balcony. This is a SHA approved hotel, so did not meet the standard. Part of the package included 3 meals - but food was inedible (food was rotten, and meat left out in the heat which caused a terrible smell). All of this made it difficult with a 8 year old child.
