If you bear in mind that this is a budget hotel you will not be disappointed. The rooms are basic but adequate and, although reviewers have complained about the noise (I took ear plugs just in case) we didn't hear anything from our room despite...More
Although I was not too thrilled by the rooms and the breakfast, I still think that the hotel was perfect for Bangkok. Bangkok is the type of city that never sleeps, which means you never do either. So the hotel room was perfect for a...More
This hotel is situated in downtown Bangkok far away from central Bangkok. I felt unsafe in this area. Had to step over drug addicts that slept on the foot bridges. The actual hotel provided one of my uncomfortable sleeps. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable....More

Yes, we walked around every night we were there. We went to 'The Street' shopping mall at night where you can find lots of places to eat and shop. It is quite westernised. You can reach it by coming out of the hotel, turning left and carrying straight on until you get to the overpass steps. Go over this and it will take you over the road to the shopping centre. We also y the metro at night and returned back quite late with no problem. You can reach this by turning right out of the hotel only a few hundred metres down the road. Enjoy!
