We stayed here for 3 nights whilst we visited Bangkok, the hotel rooms were average at best but we didn't spent much time in it. We hired a driver for the day for 2000bht called Mr Tom and he was excellent. He took us to...More
Massive disappointment! Told it was average hotel which I can cope with but there was nothing remotely average about it. Arrived after 12 hr flight, hard sale on tours before we even got to our room. Then manager tried to claim breakfasts had not been...More
This is possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I stayed here with my 8 year old daughter for 3 nights at the end of a 5 week trip through China, Vietnam and Cambodia. We were just in Bangkok for a weekend before...More
Cha Da is a little bit outside of the main centre of Bangkok but the Huai Kwang MTR station is 5 minutes walk and you can be in the centre of town within 20 minutes. The hotel is a good mid-range level. Large, clean bedrooms,...More

Yes, we walked around every night we were there. We went to 'The Street' shopping mall at night where you can find lots of places to eat and shop. It is quite westernised. You can reach it by coming out of the hotel, turning left and carrying straight on until you get to the overpass steps. Go over this and it will take you over the road to the shopping centre. We also y the metro at night and returned back quite late with no problem. You can reach this by turning right out of the hotel only a few hundred metres down the road. Enjoy!
