THE FIRST THING YOU SHOULD KNOW IS THESE PEOPLE HAVE A POLICY THAT ALLOWS THEM TO STEAL FROM YOU. I should have known from the beginning that this was not a hotel that I wanted to stay in because when I walked through the door with several bags the two able-bodied men working their simply chose to remain seated. Before I arrived I called the hotel to ask about the bed and the man on the phone said it was from America; that was the first lie. The second lie was when I asked about the price of the larger room and the manager Jack, said oh I don't remember maybe around 1000 or so I'm not sure. I then informed him that just a few days earlier I had stayed at a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotel for 1200 baht, so this room directly across from the highway on the fifth floor where I could look directly into someone else's home, couldn't possibly be 1000 baht/nt. He then was like you need to calm down maybe it's 800 or so I don't know. At the point I was about to leave when Jack suddenly became chummy, talking about his kid and whatnot. I then decided maybe it would be fine to stay, even though the evidence was stacked against him at this point. After checking into the room, I realized that the room was extremely loud as it was next to the to a major highway and they had done nothing to insulate the room against noise. I requested to move and they moved me to a smaller room but failed to return the difference to me. After taking a shower and having a zoom meeting I tried to connect my computer to the TV only to learn that they had blocked the port. In Bangkok at this time we were in a semi lockdown, you couldn't even go to the park and almost all public facilities except malls were closed. Once I learned that the TV didn't work as they had altered it's functionality I wanted to leave the hotel. Per their booking policy on booking.com I was in my rights to cancel the room and leave. However because I had signed a paper agreeing to follow their rules they absolutely refused to return my money claiming that it was against their hotel policy. I offered to pay for the cleaning of the linens which is what would have been reasonable but they insisted on stealing the full night's stay from me. When I said that what they were doing was wrong and unethical they said that they didn't believe in right or wrong. They only believe in their hotel policy. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and not from America at all, the TV small and every window at the check in area was filthy. They also have zero English channels. I wouldn't even recommend this hotel to my enemy. When I switched rooms it was too a lesser room and Jack even refused to refund the difference. I also paid directly to the hotel so Jack not only stole from me, he also stole from the booking agent. So to summarize, these people steal and lie so you'll want to stay somewhere else.…
My first stay at W Station for a year and it’s still a lovely place even with all the challenges of Covid regulations limiting their business. Rooms are clean, bright and well equipped. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the sky train and yet also very quiet
I spent one night at this hotel before a long driving trip with friends who live on the Thonburi side of the river. Although I have a place to stay in central Bangkok, I wanted to stay near their apartment to avoid having to travel to meet them during the morning rush hour. I wasn't sure what to expect because of the Covid situation, when many hotels are closed (due to the absence of foreign travelers). I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel open and operating mostly normally. I stayed in a Superior room, which was a very reasonable price. The room was spacious, had a large bathroom with shower, and was meticulously clean; the bathroom was well equipped with toiletries. The room seemed quite new to me (I don't know when the hotel opened or was last renovated but it seemed recent). The hotel isn't a luxury-standard hotel but I have a high standard and it was fine with me. The high rating I'm giving means that I found the hotel near the top of its cost tier. Three of us ate in the restaurnant, ordering MANY dishes from the large menu with a mix of Thai and Western foods. The food was great. I was extremely surprised to see that the bill came to only 800 baht for everything. In terms of location - I had a ride from friends to and from the hotel. I'm not familiar with the area and so can't comment on it; I didn't even leave the hotel. It is very close to a BTS Skytrain station, which offers cheap, easy and efficient access to Central Bangkok. I would definitely stay here again. Normally the hotel restaurant offers breakfast, but currently because of the Covid situation the restaurant opens first at 11AM. This wasn't a big deal for me. IF you want you can presumably order breakfast delivery using Grab or other services.…
A boutique hotel with rooms that are quiet and well designed, with a number of thoughtful touches. I prefer this area more than many places in central BKK because the quality of air is better. The rooms are comfortable and I enjoyed sitting on the sofa next to the window with a cup of coffee in hand. Clearly, a lot of love and care goes into running the hotel, so if you choose to stay please return the favour and care for the room as if it were your own. I stayed on weekends during a time when there was relatively high restrictions due to the pandemic and I never felt unsafe. The hotel has excellent access to central BKK because of its proximity to a BTS station. Grabbing a taxi is also easy to do if one wants to enjoy Yaowarat / Chinatown. It's worth noting that the restaurant at the ground floor serves really delicious food too!…
