Literally just around the corner from lampraya office we stayed here twice in one month for outward and inward travel. Great friendly staff and very clean. Exceptional value for money we will definitely stay here again
We have just left Panee Lodge after a long stay of 3 weeks. The hotel rooms are nice for the price you pay and are very clean. The only comment I would make is that the bathroom can sometimes be a bit smelly! However I think this is the case in a lot of hotels in the area (we have experienced this before) it’s more the drains that the smell comes from so probably not much the hotel can do! The best thing about this hotel is the staff, they are all so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Always happy and friendly. The little cafe in the hotel is nice and does great coffee and breakfasts! Healthy and big portions that keep you going all day. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Bangkok :)
Popped in here for brekkie - such a nice change from the breakfasts we’d been having at island hotels!! Cafe is modern and quaint with a French feel.. Tasty food, free water brought to your table, air-conned, clean and friendly :) We ordered 2 Americanos, 1 croissant with egg/cheese (it was huge!) and egg/cheese toast (aka toasted sandwich) with extra tomato - all delicious and filling. Bill came to THB 270. Nice little breakaway from the busy Bangkok streets, and we’d definitely go back! :)
Very noisy, room comfortable, however needed a good clean. WiFi was very hot and miss. Need to go to reception every day to get a new password....then it did not work. Too close to the street and bars.
AC looks was dirty and barely ran. It's a cheap room that smells bad in a good centralized location. Staff was more concerned about their cell phone games than helping customers. Check in consisted of us being handed a key, and when we asked for wifi passwords the woman at the counter refused us saying we got it at check in. I had to go to the front counter to ask and she seemed like I was the worst person on earth for asking and refused several times saying we already received it. She eventually got off her lazy butt to look it up and hid the chart from me as if I was trying to read confidential information over her shoulder. If you come expecting a cheap room in a good location this is the place. If you want to feel like a human for asking what you paid for look elsewhere. (Btw fire exits from the room are padlocked shut)…
