Diamond Accor member.. this is possibly my 20th stay at VIE. Hotel still the only one i will choose to stay in but some things have changed, many old staff have left and because of Covid, even the hair dryer has gone amiss! Breakfast was dismal & the rooms even after renovation, is looked aged. That said, big shout out to Boom (Front desk) & Benz (Concierge). U guys truly make the difference!
Beautiful hotel. Nice swimming pool, great big gym and very friendly staff. Breakfast was also good. So I had a great stay in VIE Hotel Bangkok. Special thanks to the host Mr. Benz, very helpfull. Thank you.
The atmosphere is great I love the decoration of the hotel and facilities also excellent The room is very beautiful, like not staying in a hotel. It's like I'm staying at home. The bathroom is very spacious.
Easy to travel, good service, clean rooms, well-spoken staff. complete facilities and tight security Convenient parking, delicious food, excellent spa service. All staff are very attentive, bathroom is spacious, comfortable to rest, everything is serviced in the room as well.
I would like to mention the service I got from Benz the conciege which helped me a lot with every question I had. The food was great. The pool is great, nice and clean water You can see all bangkok from there
The Room was outdated and it’s a shame that they call this 5 star. It takes 1hour to fill the bath and many places were to sticky to touch to , noise from the outside (pub next to it) comes all night into the room and it’s impossible to rest like you want to do in a 5 star hotel. Japanse restaurant is 5 star as well for the employees. Not writhing reviews that often while we are traveling a lot but wen i think it’s necessary I do.
I had a one-night quarantine as part of the Thailand Pass. The staff/management was attentive and quickly resolved a problem with an unsafe driver sent by the hotel to pick me up for a PCR test followed by delivery to the hotel. The only negative is like so many hotels in Thailand, their staffing and services are a bit thin ... and pricey. As I could not leave my room until my Thailand Pass's PCR test were in place, I tried to order from their room service menu which had VERY few main dishes on it. A glass of wine was a staggering $12.22. I don't begrudge a hotel that ran unprofitably for 2+ years during Covid being a bit thin on staffing but $12.22 for a glass of (basic) wine when one cannot leave their room is a bit
The hotel is nice, the common areas being quite elegant. The swimming pool is not top, but the view on the city is very interesting, especially concerning the contrast between the hotel and the poor buildings around. Our bedroom was spacious, but we got a bit disappointed that there was no additional bed for the kids who eventually slept in the sofa - we were not expecting this from a "family suite". The staff is kind and professional, especially the lady who receives the customers early morning for breakfast, and especially Benz, the concierge.
Hotel is very nice, service is good, pool is also great, location is perfect which is beside the BTS sky train station and not far from downtown of Bangkok. Food is delicious and Japanese food is highly recommend
Always back here for my business trip. Great service, great location but can further improve in terms of in-room facilities to be more modernise, should have another phone at the working desk as the only 2 phones are located in the bedroom and the toilet. Power point can be improve too. This is my 4th time staying here and been impressed. Decided to stay here for 11 days instead of changing to another hotel.
