This was a clean friendly place on a quaint street with lots of great restaurants. Rooms are very reasonable and a pleasant staff. Nice little swimming pool on the roof was a bonus! Highly recommend for the traveler on a budget. Would definitely stay again on my next visit!

Good news first: The Promenade Hotel hotel is located nicely, close to Nana BTS and staying here is affordable. Also no problem with the staff, everyone were friendly. Sadly the "affordable-brand" is shown in every corner. Rooms and corridors have been decorated with dark colors and gives a very musty feeling. Room where I stayed had single beds and in...

While booking request for a higher floor. We stayed at 5th & 8th floor with amazing sky scraper views. The hotel also has a roof top pool with of course a great view. Pool size is small but who wants to stay at the pool and miss out all the fun inside the city. We didn't try out the food....

I have a feeling that this inexpensive hotel is targeted for guest who stays just for the night and don't mind about anything else. And even that, the bed is so rigid and uncomfortable. (The sheets are clean). It's within short walking distance to Nana BTS station. Fantastic, especially when under the hot Bangkok weather. Hotel also provides 2 free...

The heyday of the Promenade is well over but I bet 30 years ago it was posh. For about 30-35 USD though, you get a good place near Nana station. The bed is big and nice. The window is large and opens wide. The bathtub is missing the plug though. The pool on the roof is small but nice and...

Apart from the unfriendly receptionist (guess she was the owner) everything else is great. We stayed for 2 nights in room 905 facing school and Grand Sukhumvit Hotel. Near BTS Nana and 7 Eleven. The pool one level above us is just fantastic. Will sure come back.

Stayed here a few times now and it's well worth the very reasonable price. Not nasty at all and there is no hassle. Breakfast was the only disappointment the one time I tried. Very convenient to all that the Sukhumvit area has to offer and tucked away enough to provide some peace. The school behind the building does prevent a...

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
Sukhumvit
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
