    I once again stayed at Meechai Mansion for about ten days, nothing has really changed but there were signs up they were refurbsing rooms putting new flooring down.     It has two building opposite each other one is a hotel/apartment, and the other is just for renting. I stayed in the hotel part, a room is 700 Baht a night with 1000 Baht deposit, the rooms are large and clean they are cleaned every day, the cleaners are very helpful if you ask them to come back and clean...

    Meechai is a big apartment block about 25 floors high. It's old and worn and badly maintained. The rooms are shabby, all told it's a depressing experience. On the positive side the location is reasonable and the rent is reasonable (5500 baht per month) There's a lot of westerners live there who are strapped for cash or down on their...
