Just finishing up our stay here, and I'm very sad to go. Bed was queen, clean and comfy. Room was spacious and clean, tv and ac. Tv had English channels and even had some pretty decent ones at that. Showed documentaries about the area and other countries around thailand. Bathroom was in great shape. Honestly I don't have a single...

5 minutes from both Saladaeng BTS and the Silom MRT station is a cosy hideaway for those seeking comfort, camarederie and cost-effective, convenient accommodations. Thai, English and Mandarin-speaking staff make check-ins, transport arrangements and travel tips a breeze - all done with a warm, welcoming smile. Yes, you can tell I love this place to bits. Location is one of...

The room we had (606) was spacious and clean. There was an initial 'hallway' where we could leave shoes and luggage so it didn't spill over into the room itself. The room had numerous shelves and storage available. It was nice and bright because of a large window. The curtains were thick so they blocked out the light well. The...

We stayed for one night late January 2016. We had reserved directly with hotel for a superior room as described on the web site. However the feel and view of the room gave the impression that it was the same or very similar to the regular room we had 6 months ago.One big difference was that the WIFI in room...

It was a great choice to stay at Inn Saladaeng. Clean, friendly service, affordable price and 24 hours snack available downstairs! Hot Milo and the crispy chips were our favorite during 3 nights we stayed there. The alleys was a bit narrow, but considering that they provide 8 floors, wow! Keep up the good work!

After a couple of nights at the sister property I moved to the original property to be better located near transportation (BTS) and dining. The internet was relatively slow, the room was small, there was only one outlet in the room. When i tried to check out the we elevator kept passing my floor, indicating full, the very narrow stairwell...

Returning from Phuket and Nakhon Si Thammarat, respectively, for the continuation of our Bangkok adventure, our usual hotel was unavailable. We therefore opted for the popular In Saladaeng, which is both (slightly) cheaper and (slightly) better located, literally just a few blocks from Downtown Saladaeng. So what's this place like? Well, that depends on which room you're being assigned. As...

Thumbs up to excellent service, smooth reception/check out, accommodated special requests: early check in, arrange transpo for tours, helpful tips for first-timers in bangkok and the room is great for the amount they charge. Complimentary free drinks available and front desk available 24/7. Location is right at the center of busy Silom and very accessible to 2 train stations. Will...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
