I recommend The Inn Saladaeng for its value, location, and friendly staff. It's within a five-minute walk of the busy shops, restaurants, and bars on Silom Road, so its modest prices make it a good value. The friendly, English-speaking staff goes above and beyond to help its guests; they helped me to retrieve a package by locating the distant post...

Inn saladaeng has a great location near the BTS sky train and metro. It is on a quieter street only a few minutes away. Room was nice, AC worked, booking was correct, 24 hour front desk, some snacks out all day for guests. WiFi was lightening speed. Only bad thing was that booking.com days the hotel accepts credit and when...

Very clean place and cozy. Stayed here with 3 friends and it is very easy to go to Silom complex (5) mins and train station (10) min. The receptionist is really friendly and can speak English quite well. Asked her where to go and she recommended to go to a lot of good places

It is very close to both the BTS and MRT and coming by train from the airport (even with luggages) was very easy. If coming from the BTS take exit 5 onto Saladaeng Road and from MRT, take exit 2. I think it would be easier taking the MRT from the airport since there is only 1 transfer -- no...

Small place. Friendly team. Quit clean and nicely colorful decoration. Good location not too far from Silom and Sala-dang stations (sky line and MTB ) statins. Very good value for money for the traveler on budget.

We will be checking out tomorrow after a 4 night stay at this hotel. I'm very happy with my decision to stay here! Located in Silom, it's a great home base for your stay in Bangkok. The room is small, but very clean! It's a 5 minute walk from the Sala Deng BTS station, which is 3 stops away from...

Myself and my fiance stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in Bangkok. It was a very clean and comfortable hotel. We were close to everything including public transport. Only difficulty was for taxi drivers to find the exact location as the entrance was around a corner from the main street. Very welcoming though and free hot beverages. The breakfast...

The hotel is clean, rooms are clean and wifi is good. Breakfast is not good, very basic and no variety. The location is very central to the train station (walking distance). ATMs are just available at the corner of the hotel. The morning staff are really decent, helpful and nice. However there was a receptionist called "Pam" who was really...

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
