Well it was interesting to get to as the Taxi did not want to drive all the way through. The hotel itself is situated along Khao San Road, a great central location in the area. It was clean, staff was nice, rooms were small but big enough for two girls and our backpacks. The street noise was audible, but not...

Its alright. Not the cheapest but not expensive either. 1 male staff member that speaks very good english the rest are a bit shaky. Rooms are small but do the job. The air-con is old and tempermental it will be freezing one minute then boiling the next. It did the job whilst we were on Khoasan road.

If you are planning a stay in Koahsan street this is a great value for money in an area where unless you know you can land up in some really dodgy hotels. The pictures are often not representative of the hotel. In the thick of Koahsan st with an upstairs pool which is a very welcome retreat.

This hotel is right in the middle of Khao San Road so lots of entertainment, food and shops very near by. The hotel staff were some friendly some were not. The room was very small but fine for 2 people if you don't mind being close. Air con was appreciated. The room was very quiet at night, but bear in...

Good hotel if you want to spend a night at Kaosan road for some partying. Just go outside the the door and start. Small rooms but ok, not for staying long time anyway. Clean and staff helpful. Can recommend this place.

Nothing special but bang on khao san road so location is ideal for partying. You need to taxi to the city if you want to look around there but taxis are cheap enough. Its cheap but you get cheap. No frills and no sound proofing. The roof top pool is great. If you dont mind the noise and simplicity i...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
