Nice hotel but it's very loud, you can here people talking/snoring in the rooms next to you. There's no windows just carpet over them so you can hear the noise from outside. Good points are air conditioning, comfy bed & you get free wifi (isn't the best but it's something) the location is great just by the main strip! The...

Villa Cha Cha is perfectly located near Khao San Road but away enough to be able to sleep and not hear any noise from there. Close to the grand palace and to the river to catch a ferry. Rooms are clean, simple and we'll priced.

Lovely accommodations - clean rooms and bathrooms, bottled water and lovely reception and lounge area. Didn't use the pool but it looked great. Free breakfast with mix of western and Thai food. Full menu of both for purchase any other time. Food is okay, not great. But right there :) Concierge is incredibly helpful and kind, helped us secure multiple...

In the middle of the hustle and bustle. Soi Ram Butri has live bands the evening and cute shops. The hotel is as central as you can get and has a pool. The staff is friendly and helpfull. There is a travel agent at the reception to help with the next part of your trip. The rooms are nice and...

Stayed here one night, the room was fine. The restaurant opens 24 hours. The breakfast was quiet good. The location is on Khao San road, so there is a lot of noise from the nightlife. They have a nice swimming pool. However, the mosquitoes could be "your best friend" if you don't put on some protection cream.

You're paying for the location here, which is right on a lively street in the heart of things. However yes, it is very noisy at night, but that's part and parcel with the location. The poolside area is lovely, the rooms are average but come with everything (fridge, air-con, tv, our 'economy double' had windows) Wifi is absolutely terrible though...

This is a small hotel on rambutee road and is perfectly situated for streetfood, bars, restaurants and live music. It has a small pool that feels very cosey in the heart of bustling bangkok. The rooms are clean quiet, airconditioned and offer wifi. The staff are wonderfully helpful. Its not high class but it is perfect for a bangkok stop.

Room was small but very clean and had a very comfortable bed. Despite the nightlife of Koasan Rd we slept like a rock! Charming lobby, pool and restaurant. Just head out the door and wander. Nightlife, shopping and massages abound. Wish we'd had more time to spend here. Maybe next visit...

Location is great -just off Koasan Rd. Room was also clean and decent. Sleep however is very difficult as the nightlife of Koasan Rd is omnipresent.. Hearing music and people till around 4am.. If your after party and nightlife and prefer spending nights out on the streets, it's the place for you! :) Lots of rules and regulations, which also...

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
Banglamphu
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
