I booked it for me and my friend. It's a private room with 2 beds (bunk style). There is no ensuite washroom though.

I realize my answer might be too late, but at Lub d Silom they accept both Visa and Master Card credit cards, and of course cash in Thai baht.

as with all these things, luck of the draw mate. not sure what thailand is like this time of year, but i when i was there had no problem meeitng people
