Floral Shire would be impossible to find without the complimentary pickup, but its location at the end of a residential street offers a relative escape from traffic noise and access to local services (laundry for 30-40 TB/kg, 150 TB massage, the chance to buy a Chang or M-150 from a sarong-clad grandparent sitting in an open living room/mini-mart). It's an...

Great customer service! Lovely friendly man behind the desk, not amazing at speaking english though. Had a free pick up AND drop off to the airport in a really nice minivan which was really helpful because it's difficult to get from suvarnabhumi airport to the hotel without it. We stayed here twice on our trip, on the night we arrived...

Much of my experience at this property is similar to previous reviews: - The hotel is definitely far from the city center. - There is absolutely no reason to stay here except for very short airport layovers. - There is absolutely nothing in the hotel's neighborhood save a 7-11 at the end of the block. - There are no in-room...

We had a short BKK layover: arrival shortly before midnight and departing at 0840h. The booking was made through a 3rd party travel agency. Needless to say, some words were lost and the hotel's "free" shuttle service never came. An airport staff pointed us to a waiting area and called the minivan service. After 30 mins, nobody came and they...

This hotel was great for what we needed as we flew into Bangkok at 8pm and had a flight the next day at 8am. The hotel picked us up from the airport and dropped us back included in the price of the hotel. The hotel is about 10 minutes drive from the airport, however I think it is quite a...

Flew into Bangkok in the early evening and I a flight the next day to Krabi. I was met at the airport and a short wait before being driven to the hotel. The service from all the staff was excellent. They were friendly and helpful at all times. The room was decent but basic. For the price you couldn't ask...

We flew into Bangkok at 9 pm and were flying out again at 8am the next day. I have stayed at the Novatel at Bangkok airport before and do like it very much but just couldn't justify paying 4 x as much as what the floralshire was charging for a room, when I would have less that eight hours in...

www.floralshireresort.com This is a nondescript hotel close to the airport, that charges a reasonable price and has price free shuttle service to and from the airport on the half hour. I paid 880 baht. Be sure to print out directions to the hotel from the hotel's web site. Even with the printed directions, the veteran cab driver had to call...

Nothing fancy, nothing designy but a clean room, clean shower and 5 mintes from the airport with complimentary airport pick up and drop off. perfect if you need a sleep-over in Bangkok before travelling on. Don't expect anything from breakfast as well. However they do serve some decent Thai food at night at a cute little outside patio.

Myself and 2 friends shared a room here last week. wonderful friendly service from Patti and the staff. We stayed for three nights, our airport transfers for the flights were free, and they were also happy to drive us to the airport link for the city centre for a small fee of 100 baht (about £2) when we wanted to...
