Website definitely makes the hotel look better than it is. Good looking lobby and reception area, but downhill from there. Old (possibly not the cleanest) carpets in hallways and in the rooms. Musty smell from too much humidity accumulated over time. no control over the A/C. Breakfast buffet was passable, but Chinese restaurant on first floor helped redeem the overall...

Top location for shopping, service excellent. Furniture old. Room not clean when you look behind desks and TV furniture. Worst case is I found a 3 cm cockroach behind the desk. This happened on my first visit 6 years ago already and thus never came back. Had no other chance due to exhibition week. Won't come back for many years....

We spent 6 days in this wonderful hotel, located in the heart of the busy Eastern district, with subway station right in front, you are just minutes from most parts of Taipei. San Want Hotel is a full services class act by any measures, professional uniformed staff are always outside and inside all public areas, friendly, pleasant and eager to...

Stayed three days recently at this hotel in the center of Taipei City. Very conveniently located closed to restaurants, shopping areas and MRT stations. Rooms are clean and the staff are super friendly. Breakfast is included with a selection of Western and Chinese dishes, good coffee!

Nice location for a family re-union. Friendly and helpful staff, English speaking front desk, lobby staff was always smiling and helpful. We had two rooms, one very large with two king beds, the other w two single but sufficient. Location is a big plus, MRT station is just outside that can get you almost all attractions very easily and cheap....

We stayed here 5 night very good location and easy to go anywhere because this location is the center of Taipei and near Zhongxiao Dunhua metro station not far from Taipei 101. The rooms included bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

SAN Want Hotel is located right beside a train station, only few steps away. Plenty of big brands around the hotel so shopping is no problem at all. Better to get hotel stay with breakfast coz bit difficult to find breakfast place. We had a 3 beds room to accommodate 3 of us, room condition was just ok. But we...

The hotel is situated conveniently about 10 minutes from the Metro station. There is a park opposite the hotel and our room had a view of Taipei. There are a lot of restaurants around the area and a lot of shopping as well. Room insulation from noise is perfect, the bathroom has a Japanese style soaking tub, and a fully...

we stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and we are so pleased with the size of the room. It was a room for 4 people and the beds were so huge. I cannot say anything about the breakfast since it was not included in our booking. Anyway, there are lots of restaurants and food stalls nearby. Right beside the...

We spent a week here on our first Taipei trip for New Years holiday. There is so much that I can say about this hotel but the most important I'll leave upfront. CLEAN accommodations with a super attentive staff. Every door opened, lift operated before you have the chance to reach for the handle, 5-star service. Rooms are well insulated...
