I'm a big fan of the Okura chain, especially the Tokyo flagship. Taipei's Okura is adequate, but not up to the chain's usual standards. Location: Central Taipei is quite compact, and the Okura is in a lively area filled with restaurants and shopping, and close to the subway. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Songshan airport. While busy...

This hotel is well located. It has buffet restaurant in addition to Chinese and Japanese. Rooms good. A bit noisy from outside noise. Not sound proof. Good shower option. Other hotel should take notice. Bed very spacious and comfortable.

Actually it is very good Japanese hotel. Clean, maintained and equipped Expensive and luxury. But how to explain to management of hotel that if you have room starting from 200USD per night it is ridiculous to ask buy swimming cap for TWD50???? Really guys! Are you so greedy to put new swimming caps to room? Or may be waive demand...

Our room was quite large, even for American standards, although we faced north and the view is not very appealing. We had a balcony, but chose not to use it even once as there...

Spent several nights there and had the most comfortable pillows and bed that you just sink into. The bed is so huge, You can easily sleep 3 people with plenty of space. The Japanese style toilet is a nice treat. Great varieties for breakfast, especially the Japanese style. Can highly recommend it.

We were happy with our room and hotel but ate at the hotel Chinese restaurant. After a long day of tours we were tired and hungry. it took a while to get someone to take our order and 20 minutes later we got our appetizer. It was terrible! We sat there 10 minutes later and said we were through waiting....

We stayed for three nights and it was a very pleasant stay. Staffs were kind and helpful. The room was spacious and was maintained very well. Clean bathroom and a modern toilet. Brakfast was good. We went to Chinese and Japanese restaurants in the hotel and both were good.
