Currently we are staying in this hotel for 5 nights and 3 nights are already over. This is a basic hotel with basic breakfast. My supplier booked this hotel for me and when I check prices in Tripadviser they are almost 15% cheaper. It cost us around $100/night and do not worth. I will not come to this hotel again.

Been to this hotel and stayed for 2 nights. Service was average. Location wise, within walking distance to the nearest mrt. Main issues ; Cell / mobile reception is some rooms are horrendous. Sighted croachades.

Typical old fashioned 3 star hotel in city centre conveniently located but in need of renovation. Entrance hall very busy with large groups check in but with helpfull staff, well versed in english language. Rooms are a pleasant surprise, at least mine was, quite spacious and well appointed with coffee/ tea making facilities, large bathroom with bathtub and walk in...

Length of stay: 6 nights (for training trip at Taipei Veterans General Hospital). Arrival: We arrived at around 12MN. Staff was not that good in english. Had to resort to a bit sign language when we checked-in. Room: Rooms are old and a bit musty, need some renovation. A lot of the rooms do not have a window. Although We...

Before booking, I am a bit hesitated since it's an old hotel and afraid some malfunctions. Since we will stay for a night and want to have easy access location, we decide to stay this place. The room is spacious since it's designed for the disable person. It has the living room and bed room separately. The bed is not...

This is one of the old hotels in Taipei but located at a very central location to access to most areas. Staff have been working there so long that they established an old style service culture. Breakfast was not limited variety and also quantity. If you are late for breakfast, you would have very limited food left for your choice.

Kind of... bland/ plain. Complimentary breakfast gets a thumbs up but it is quite plain as well. It's located right across from a bus station as well. Apart from that... everything is just... alright. Also, most of the staff know English and are very friendly.

I stayed at this hotel with my family (mom and sister) for a couple nights. It was a package trip, and we upgraded the hotel level, so I was expecting a better service and facility. The breakfast was horrible - we couldn't eat most of the things. I think most guests were Chinese coming with a bunch of people in...

This hotel was included in the price of our tour. Our first choice of hotel was full and so we were asked to pay an extra fee for this "upgraded" hotel. Upon arrival we found a dated hotel but with pleasant staff. The room turned out to be very old and didn't even have a window - although there were...

Taipei is one of the best cities in the world. It exceeds the standard on food, access, price, things to do, things to see, friendliness by far. But be fair, the state of the median hotel in Taipei is sorely lacking from an international standard. In most cities, you'll find that an average 3-star hotel would be similar to a...
