Stayed in this hotel for 3 days for business. Compared to other hotels in Taipei, the room is big and they have all the facilities but it's very dated. I guess it's been ages since they had any renovation. However, I wouldn't come back to this hotel if I'm here for holiday or I have to pay for my own...

On a cruise ship tour, we stopped at this hotel for a lunch. Hotel is clean, modern, and with normal clean washrooms. We were at tables of 12, and provided a great variety,of local Taiwanese cuisine. It was well prepared and presented and very tasty. The service was very good and the attendants friendly, some who spoke English, but could...

Small, unassuming, well.located, relatively quiet, and well-priced, the Ambassador has two Chinese restaurants, Cantonese and Szechuan, and a good coffee shop and adequate gym. The pool is outdoor so closed in winter. There is an old-style Chinese laundry two minutes walk behind the hotel which is a 5th the price of the hotel.

Service of staff of this hotel is good. It will entertain the traveler. The quality of the room is also good. The toilet is a Japanese favorite with a washlet. There are many convenience stores, banks, eateries near the hotel, and the location is the best.

I have been a traveller but I have never had such a wonderful experience dealing with the front desk staff. My experience with Adam who checked me in was someone who took time to explain and gave directions. I wanted to book tours during our stay and he willingly assisted me. He called the travel agency , suggested a schedule...

Excellent location in terms of the metro. Stayed here twice--before and after a tour of Taiwan island. The first stay found the room to be a little dated, especially the carpet. However, on our return we were given an upgrade and found that room to be very modern. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Helpful and friendly staff, clean room, strategic location, good breakfast selections, welcome fruit platters. All you expect for hotel with such standard. Ample eateries around the block, all within walking distance. MRT station is about 10-15 minutes on foot, if you are too lazy to walk then hail a taxi, show your destination on Google map, plenty of them waiting...

The bathroom can be transparent at the click of a button on the wall. You can watch TV when you are dipping in the bath. Lights in the room were adjustable according to sun, snooze and night. The bed was lying on a fluffy cloud. It's close to shops, restaurants and local markets.

It lives up to the reputation of a 5 stars hotel. Hotel, restaurants and room are maintained properly. Classy design although it has this old-school approach, but then again it's the oldest 5 stars hotel in Taiwan, so there you go. I'm more of a backpacker or casual traveler. This time I stayed here because of business trip, and I...

I stayed for five nights for business. Our company has some agreement with the hotel and during an exhibition we got upgrade to executive rooms for the same price. I had very nice stay. The room in 9th floor was big and comfortable. We could also enjoy the breakfast on 11th floor. This breakfast was more Western style than the...
