This is a convenient and smart hotel. We had a room on an upper floor and despite there being a busy road outside, there was almost no noise. It is very close to a metro station and the Taipei metro system is straightforward to use for foreigners. We could see Taipei 101 in the distance from the small hotel window,... More

Good location, just beside Taipower Building MRT and 5 min walk from the Shida night market, which was full of good and cheap local food. Room prices were still decent and comes with free wifi. This may be a one-off incident, but my room was full of mosquitoes during this visit (my second visit). After I killed four, I called... More

We agree with the other reviewers about the good value. Easy access to MRT (Taipower Building station exit 4) and to the Shida area was wonderful. Our room was able to cozily accomodate our family of 4 adults. An unexpected bonus was that from our room we could actually see most of the big fireworks display for Taipei's New Year's... More

We booked this hotel as it is near to where my wife had some business. The rooms are on the small side for two persons ,but shower-toilet is a good size . We had a room at the back on the hotel on 9th floor and is was very quiet. Whole hotel is very clean and wifi in room works... More

Just steps from taipower building MRT exit 4, this hotel is clean, with courteous and helpful staff. Some previous reviewers have mentioned thin walls/street noise, so I used ear plugs while sleeping, but I didn't find it that noisey when I was awake. Lots of eating options across the street in the Shida night market area, both from stalls and... More

When I first check in the hotel, I am impressed by their cleanliness & service.. Very polite front desk service, location is terrific... Juz less than 2 min front mrt station. Breakfast is simple yet delicious... I would definitely go back to this hotel when I visit Taipei again... Thumbs up :)

adequate room size, fairly clean , modern toilet, breakfast have limited choices only. Location is great, just few steps away from MRT station and walking distance to Shi Da night market. But, we were very disappointed with the hotel staff especially the front desk lady ( day time), hardly see a smiley face from her and not helpful. At once I... More

Like all others have pointed out, the location is really good! For those who likes books, there are a few good chinese bookstores around. I am staying here for two nights with parents and we have two rooms. The room in higher floor is bigger with bath tub and I took the six floor without bath tub. Overall the room... More

I stayed here for 7 nights in August 2011. The service was very good. People were very friendly, whether receptionist or cleaner or manager. Location was wonderful, not exactly city centre which was what I wanted, yet not far off that there is nothing available at night. Minutes walk from Shida night market, stone's throw from metro station exit (Taipower... More
