We had stayed on this place from April19-22. This hotel is located near Gate 4 of Taipei Power Station. The place is convenient and accessible as it is near MRT and Shida Night Market. It is also two stations away from Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall. The staffs are friendly and helpful especially when giving directions for locations and in...

If you are staying in the neighbourhood for business, Li Yuan could be a good choice, but its not a place to relax. The rooms are boxes, clean, neat and tidy, but still boxes with almost no windows. Not for the claustrophobic! The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is clean and functional. The TV has almost no English channels. The...

I chose this hotel for my 8 days trip as it is near the shi-da night market, where my favourite 卤味 (noodles with a lot of ingredients thrown in) is located. Shi-da is a 3 minute walk away from the hotel and the best place to hunt for food and buy it back to the hotel for a nice slow...

About 10 minutes by taxi to the Science Education Center of NTNU which we visit. Has a nearby night market (Shida), though I didn't go there. Nearby subway station (Taipower), your gateway to any tourist destinations. Homey feels. Breakfast is fine. No lounge/waiting area in the lobby though.

This hotel is small, strategically located, and attractive. It is so minimal in its footprint that it has basically no lobby, and the only common area where one can sit is in the breakfast area on the bottom floor. In general, our stay at this hotel was fine… The service is pleasant and generally efficient, the breakfast is filling, varied,...

This is such an unassuming hotel, but the important criterion for us is the strategic location, about 900 meters to the National Taiwan University. There's no need to walk as the MRT station is 30 meters away! The staffs are very helpful although their English is limited (the cafe staff). The counter staffs are ever willing to assist especially with...

Well connected with transport - metro and bus. Walking distance to Shida night market with numerous F&B options. Walking distance to NTNU, etc. The hotel is clean but minimal. Staff are helpful. Breakfast is not much to speak off so if it is not 'your cup of tea', many other options in the area.

I needed a place to stay during by business trip that was close to some of the university campusses but still not too far of the centre and Li Yuan was simply perfect. I could walk to my work meetings and take the bus as well as the metro for my city explorations during the evenings and my day off....

Spent a week in Taiwan, and I needed a place to sleep. The room was on the small side, but it had international tv - about 3 channels in English. Breakfast was great, but a little limited in selection. Chinese and Western offerings were available. Brewed coffee or instant 3-in-1 were available. Room cleaning was supposed to happen every day,...

In 2014, a few new buildings were built and therefore blocked the view to Taipei 101, thus fireworks viewers, pls look elsewhere for another hotel. Otherwise, standard and service are still good here.
