I was surprised that the hotel lobby was located on the 6 or 7/F (couldn't remember) and we had to walk a few stair steps to the elevator. The so-called lobby was a work desk located outside some of the rooms. Our first impression to the room - weak sound proof as we could hear some of the movements from...

Was a bit skeptical at first because this the first budget hotel that I have ever booked. Then I realised from google map street view that this hotel is located above a shop selling fruits...confidence level go down further. Somehow, the positive reviews in tripadvisor helped me to be a little more optimistic. As it turned out, the hotel exceeded...

The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to XiMen station. The lift landing is a flight of steps up so it is quite troublesome. The reception is located on the 6th floor and they encourage you to leave the room cards at the reception as it cost NT500 if it is not return. We were booked in this hotel as...

Our first and last stay with this hotel. The room is infested with mosquitoes. At first when we checked in to the room and caught 2 mosquitoes thinking it may be just isolated case. The windows are all closed though. I brought my family with 2 kids and all of us have multiple mosquito bites. My daughter got the bits...

It was a last minute booking hence only that hotel (nearest to ximending) was available. Try to book early, better hotel choices out there. There's a foot massage parlor on the ground floor of the hotel, and a 7-11 across the road. Ximending is about 5 minutes walk away but Ximen MRT is easily a 15 minutes walk. But with...

We first arrived at the hotel on 2nd August 2014, it looked quite dodgy because it is situated further down XMD, quite secluded. The front desk was on the 6th floor. Check in was quick. We got to our hotel room, we stayed on the 9th floor, toilet was clean and the room was not really what we thought it...

The hotel is not cheap, all you pay is for its location, only 10 mins to XimenDing and XiMen Mrt station. Room is small as usual size you have in Taipei, but bed is comfortable and really clean. If you just need a place to rest after a whole day walking outside and need convenient location, this is the place...

This hotel is not cheap and you are mostly paying for the location, which is great if you want to stay right inside Ximending. We paid slightly over SGD100 per night. Room is pretty small but clean, quiet and comfortable with the amenities of a 4 star hotel. There was a mini fridge in the room and a big size...

You pay for what you get with this hotel. Being centrally located in Ximending, you have ample food choices and shops. It is about 8 min walk from Ximen station exit 6, carrying luggage from the station to the hotel would be a bit difficult, so we took a bus from Taoyuan airport to Tapei Station and then took taxi...
