This is a straight five star stay with lovely accommodation in scattered lodges around the grounds, bird watching and treks available, and a wonderful veranda to sit and look at the Himalayas (if they are clear of mist....) We had mosquito nets (not actually needed) over our beds and hot water bottles can be requested! The food and hospitality are...

Dear Fourviolets, Thank you for your kind words and appreciation of the simple qualities of Tiger Mountain. The rich and all-natural flora and fauna around the lodge is a living tribute to all the staff in their work to protect the natural habitat and thus ensuring the depth of bio-diversity for our guests first, but also as an example and...

I had another destination in mind for my Easter holidays, but a friend told me I had to go to Nepal, and especially to Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge. Great advice. The lodge is beautiful, in a magnificent location, and very comfortable. Every member of the staff was exceedingly attentive to me as well as to the other guests. Tiger Mountain...

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Lodge manages to knit together the very best in comfort, service and food, whilst making space for nature. A difficult feat to achieve, but one that I and my mother very much appreciated. There is no forced planting of exotic, introduced flowers and tightly strimmed grass, which seems to have become the standard everywhere around the world...

Dear Bembix, What a wonderful appreciation of all we strive to achieve as the core of our Responsible Conservation Tourism ethos; an enormous thank you from us all, specially Jhalak, the two Haris, and Sajan, our guides who undertake our wildlife monitoring studies. These include the butterflies you mention as well as waterfowl, paserine birds and raptors. We also record...

We visited this lodge for the first time in 2012 and were so blown away by it's most loveliest and most competent staff, stunning location, wonderful food and wide range of acticities. In fact, everything was amazing. So, we decided to return. No doubt at all! And this place managed to blow us away again! Even after all the difficulties...

The lodge was very comfortable and had the most fantastic views of the valley beneath the lodge and the majestic Annapurna range of the Himalayas. The most incredible views of these mountains was at sunrise across the swimming pool. The lodge sits high on the mountain side and it is a perfect place to relax with nothing to disturb the...

A haven of peace after Bhutan and other parts of Nepal--a lazy 4 days where the waistline expanded again, inventive food and yummy....Lalu at his best !! We arrived late afternoon when 'the view' was in cloud, in fact snow was falling on the mountains. The following morning we woke with the most spectacular, breathtaking views of the Annapurna range of mountains in the early morning sun with its fresh fall of snow. Wow. Loved this sanctuary at the foothills of the Annapurnas. The host was Super friendly and had dinner with us our first night. We had a villa just near the restaurant/bar which was quintessentially Nepalese. This is not for Budget travellers as the restaurant is on the expensive side and there's no where else in the immediate vicinity to dine.

Dear CaracasChica, Thank you for your kind words.
