Jurassic resort is a perfect place to relax and indulge yourself if you wish to have a top-end stay in Nepal. The resort is a unique spot right above Pokhara city which opens divine 360 degree view on the surroundings.
The Jurassic hill features a mixed forest and a large park with wide number of rare plants and extraordinary installations. The breathtaking view of Annapurna mountain range,
The views within this hotel were amazing, but that is all. The website has been updated since we left last week, but as of the time of booking and as of now - there is no swimming pool, garden or spa. We were led to believe the spa was opening Autumn 2019 and the resort featured a swimming pool. The room rate suggest 5 *, which this resort is not. However the views from the enormous bedroom and lounge were amazing - ask for a 2nd floor room, from the 1st floor the view will be of a construction site. Service was slow and food mediocre, ice was not available when asked for, and the coffee tasted instant. To end on a positive note the sunrise view at 06.30 am was amazing and the view of the Annapurna range was well worth our two day stay.
My cousin who stayed at Jurassic last year recommend me this place for it's excellent service and great view. The view was the best from any hotel I've stayed in Nepal but the service was horrible. The staff were unprofessional and the bearded guy in the reception didn't understand English properly causing lots of misunderstanding. The food was bit overpriced for it's quality and the road leading to the gate of the resort need to be maintained.
On top of a hill near Phewa Lake, the road leads to the hotel is really bumpy, but the room is a big big WOW! Love the stairway especially. Service is extremely well. Can enjoy the sunrise and sunset on the roof top together with fishtail peak. A million dollar view.
We stay in this hotel only one night however will remember that place for long time . Get to hotel is not easy must say .work on signages need to be done plus final 200m before hotel gates need also work as very rocky and unpleasant when you in car.Place in my opinion right now is not a villa or resort -is boutique hotel .As soon they add on pool that will be superb place . As is far from Town is better to stay in hotel and wat there . As advice , try to pre order food from menu located in your room and tell them time of service . If you order when u in restaurant then just be ready for long waiting time .Same advice for breakfast. We ordered some cocktails which was very nice ( unfortunately also long waiting also) and on second round just a bottles of beer which always is a fast fast service. We sat outside restaurant ( is 2 sofa there) with view of Pohkra City -outstanding really . So nice Rooms are huge and well decorated ( some area ever one step too much ) .also bathroom great size with good facilities. Shower area need also shower gel which was missing in our room ( I guess just forgotten by housekeeping).room have balcony so can also chill there . From all sides amazing view of ever lake or mountains . On top of hotel is view terrace. Great area to have , just need to be more organized by owners as is unique selling point . Staff very friendly ( I think need just corporate uniform ) however becouse of staff hospitality I scored your place 5 stars here in Trip Advisor. Thank you for helping our driver , well impressed with you guys as a host . I talk about your hotel with my collages and family and I would recommend that place to anyone who would like to stay in Jurassic Hotel .…
I was the only one at the 4 suite hotel. The decor was unusual for its being in a rural Nepal setting. Kind of over the top with velvet curtains and chandeliers. The suite was huge. I had two sofas ,refreshment bar and TV in the sitting room and another big TV, desk and chairs, big wardrobe, private balcony in the bedroom and toilet, bidet, soaking tub and surround shower in the bathroom. The views were great. There is an all glass stairway that provides fantastic views and a terrace on the roof that has great Himalayan vistas if the weather is right. On the down side :The internet was sketchy and I had to login each time I wanted to use it and fluctuated off and on, the shower door did not close so I could not use the surround shower, the door to the suite itself had no inside lock- the deadbolt did not work and the inside latch was broken off. The artwork was hung crookedly and with the nails showing. I don't think I would stay there again just because it is quite lonely to be the only one in a hotel. Nice staff people however. They drove me to Sarangkot for sightseeing in the morning.…
