Low cost = low expectations-- That's an adage travelers have to live by. Money minded folks run this hotel. Be sure to book it online or risk being overcharged at the hotel itself (USD40 vs USD50). Generally clean, with hot showers and a nice garden in range of decent Wi-Fi. However, if you want room service, do remember to leave...

All things considered, this hotel was not bad. We stayed there two nights. It was very close to Thamel district and our room was comfortable. It was cheap and centrally located so that's all we really wanted. Electricity kept going in and out and don't expect to get your room cleaned while you're staying there. Window in the bathroom just...

good location, really closed to Thamel, and far away from noise. rooms are in the average, a little big expensive for what you have. And people at reception welcome you at all times, but all they want , it is money from you by taking their taxis, their packages. If you do not want , they really show you and...

Hotel is a little more quiet than being in the middle of Thamel, and it is only maybe 200 meters from Thamel. Courtyard is nice, except of course the rooms all surround it and people talking at night are an annoyance, as are the mosquitos in the courtyard after dark. Wifi is only in the courtyard and rooms very close...

This is my 2nd visit to Kathmandu and 5th to Nepal and after reading the review of this particular hotel, I thought it to be a great choice. I was wrong! Although the hotel was in a good location, away from the madness, it was down a dimly lit road, which was very uneven. When in the hotel, we were...

We stayed here on 2 occasions, the rooms are nothing special & the beds are not very comfy. At night you have dogs barking all night which makes it hard to sleep. Management of this place leaves alot to be desired, as they seem to tell you anything & are not the most friendly bunch to deal with. When we...

Pros: the best point about this hotel is location. it's in Thamel area and it's not. so you have a 5 mins walking distance to Thamel tourist area in Kathmandu but you are far from dogs barking, motorcycles and cars horn and noise and people and drunks scream. it has a nice garden that you can eat your dinner or...

I had a nice stay at the hotel blue horizon. I started in a delux room which was fine but then downgraded to a cheaper room which was also fine but had fewer windows, a little more noise, and harder beds. The rooms seem normal clean for Nepal (as in serviceable but not great, occasion stains and burn marks). Bathroom...
