I spent 5 nights here in total and I must say that it is a lovely hotel and the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. As I had a foot injury when I arrived here, management changed my room to a lower floor so that I didn't have so many steps to climb - very thoughtful! Breakfast was included...

With a package deal, whereby we went off to other places and used Kathmandu as a staging post, we stayed a total of 6 nights here. It's in the heart of Thamel, tucked up a laneway - perfect location. The suite room is enormous; the deluxe rooms is half that size - so it depends on what you think you...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was selected by our tour company and was included in the tour price. The hotel is located off of the main road which helps to reduce the noise. There is a small garden area in front of the hotel with tables and chairs. We saw the staff clean the...

The service was great and they were always willing to cook you anything and accommodate what ever you needed. There were a few unwanted friends in some bathrooms and such but nothing too bad. The hotel took care of any of your needs no matter what and did right by any situation. The manager was wonderful and someone was always...

This hotel takes about 90$ per night, while the service and the rooms doesn't match to such a prices level. The rooms are small, old fusion furnished and generally induce unplaseant filling. Breakfast was served on dirty tables and maps, by waiters wearing dirty shirts. I was glade to move from this hotel.

Me and my friend was in Nepal for trekking last vacation and we stayed at Samsara Resort for two nighths. We found some great value for money. The rooms are very spacious, the bathrooms spotlessly clean and disinfected, the sheets and linen are fresh. All in all, we found it great value for money. If we got chance we surely...

I used the Samsara Hotel between my time trekking and volunteering when I came into Kathmandu. I loved coming back to this hotel. The staff was beyond friendly. I would walk into the door and everyone would say hello to me because they knew me by first name by the end of my time there. Any question or request was...

If I could I would give them ZERO stars! We were put up here on our trip to Nepal and the very first day I had to beg for food and hot water for my baby and family. The chef paid no heed whatsoever to our requests. He and all the staff were busy following soccer and considered us to...

We started our Nepal trip in this hotel. Location was good, in Thamel area with restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel has a nice garden area at the front where you can sit sipping a cup of coffee, a beer or something else. Staff was nice and helpful. Rooms were very basic with total lack of cosiness. Aircondition was ineffective...

This hotel was suggested to us by the people who arranged our trek to basecamp Everest. The cost is affordable and the staff, very friendly and helpfull. It is situated about 2 blocks off the main streets of Kathmandu and as a result, acceptably quiet. It is clean, spacious and the food reasonable. Still, we as North American, cannot drink...
