The location is about five kilometers north of the main city close to the hills and near major natural attractions. Onc inside, the property has really nice gardens. All the rooms overlook the garden and have a quiet ambiance. Provides a very good quality of sleep. The property is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, which is...

We stayed at the Park village hotel for 8 days with two infants. I have mixed feelings writing this review and rate the hotel. The grounds are absolutely magnificent, well maintained and really make you feel like a 5 stars resort. The problem is the level of the rooms which is very low. We saw 4 different type of rooms...

Serene, spacious, peaceful, and full of fresh air. I have been living here for the past few months, so I've come to know the Park Village Hotel quite well. It is quite aptly named, since walking the spacious grounds feels like walking through a park. There are beautiful trees, plants, and birds everywhere (also, monkeys are spotted on occasion). Having...

Huge cottage style suites with sit out, beautiful grounds, lovely pool, gym and loads of outdoor spaces for games, great service. Space a plenty but not so much you feel isolated. 'Real' Nepal is just a step outside the gates...and the touristy Thamel shopping areas are within 30 mins taxi drive.

It may sound strange to review a Kathmandu based hotel in May, two weeks into the massive earthquake that shook Nepal. But first, Kathmandu itself, including Budhanilkantha where the Park Village lies, went largely spared by the tremor. Second, lots of humanitarian workers came to Nepal to help, including me, and my employer found the place safe enough to put...

This resort is situated within Kathmandu but as it is situated on a big piece of land with buildings spread out over a big area with lots of trees and gardens , it gives a feeling of being way out of town. It is not centrally located in town and not much to see or do if you walk out...

This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. Not pretentious. Very comfortable rooms, organised in little terraces of houses, excellent service and a surprisingly good restaurant. It's far away from the hustle of downtown Kathmandu and is a real oasis of calm. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
