I stayed at Yala Peak for 2 weeks on the way to the mountains, Great location, Staff go beyond great service, Sweet rooftop deck, wifi was good , hot showers everyday, I had a great sized room, clean and the team are always cleaning everywhere which kept it great. Storage room if needed. The awesome Yala Cafe next door with great food and Coffee. Even little shop at entry next to cafe , supermarket just 40m from hotel too. I really enjoyed my stay and will be in a month or so for sure. Staff wearing masks , Just super happy to stay here. Check it out please.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel, where I stayed a couple of years ago. The first time I stayed there I booked the suite with the attached kitchenette for five days. When I returned from my trek three weeks later the suite wasn't available, so I took a twin on another floor. The second time around I discovered I'd picked up a hernia during the trek and had to get medical treatment - the staff couldn't have been nicer, giving my all the details I needed to find the nearest clinic, making sure I was okay every day getting up and down the stairs - just superb people from the manager on down. The staff in the cafe are equally as good, as is the food, which comes from the same kitchen as the food for the more expensive restaurant attached to the hotel. At one point I was having a meal there, got up to go, and suddenly got the most excruciating pain running up from my groin, thanks to the hernia, and nearly collapsed to the ground - they were there immediately to help, then helped me back to the hotel. I ended up having to find an AirBnb with ground floor accommodation for a few weeks, because the stairs at the hotel were too much for me, and the staff were truly amazing in helping me make the shift, from taking all my luggage down, to going out on the street and arguing with the taxi drivers to get me the best price for my destination - then they loaded my luggage into the taxi and waved me away. Taking the hotel on its own merits, you get great value for the price, plus the attached cafe offers superb food at decent prices as well. But what takes this place entirely to another level is the staff. I could win the lottery tomorrow, yet if I went back to Kathmandu this is the place I'd stay at, simply because of the people who run it.

Stayed at Hotel Yala Peak for five weeks and we were very happy with our choice of hotel! Super friendly staff, excellent location and clean rooms. The staff also helped us to plan and arrange our trips outside Kathmandu valley. We ordered our booking with breakfast at Yala Cafe, which was very nice.
