This family run guest house was very welcoming, comfortable, and clean. I stayed here for 5 nights on my second trip to Kathmandu. This is way cleaner, quieter and nicer than equally priced places I stayed and saw in Thamel. The onsite restaurant serves a variety of simple, tasty and very reasonably priced foods. The wifi was also the fastest...

As a family of four, we needed somewhere of the main streets for several days. This family run place was great for us. It has a quiet garden area, the food was always good, you can hang out on the balconies and it's only a few minutes walk from the main Boudhanath Stupa. The guest house is easily accessed through...

If you travel together or by your own and want to focus on your spiritual practice this guesthouse is highly recommended. Same if you are the more quiet type and just want to chill. Owned by a family of practitioners from the Mustang area. With garden and a vegetarian kitchen.

We have stayed at this place several times and have always felt very welcome. The owner lady and her family make you feel like at home. Once we did not book and arrived very late and the guesthouse was full, the owner kindly offered us one of her own bedrooms for the night. I love this peaceful and kind place,...

We slept one night at dragon guesthouse. When we arrived, we ask if we could stay two nights, and the lady said it was OK. The next morning, an other lady asked us to check out because someone was waiting for our room. Even if we told her that we had booked the room for that night too, she didn't...

The Tibetan Lady who runs the place is just so greedy and disrespectful. They rented me a room where someone set a heater on fire just before I went it, The smell was horrible and I could not breath all night, in the morning I told them about it and they blamed me for taking the room and told me...

I have stayed here three times. its clean, the staff are friendly, kind, honest and lovely. My only warning is to bring ear plugs. Its extremely noisy. The family feel is great but the constant shouting at each other, banging doors, the dogs barking through the night- is extremely wearing. If you need peace and quiet, this is not the...

The rooms are beautiful. Big open windows overlooking a garden or a giant bougainvillea. The room has just the right furniture for a comfortable stay. The cafe below has a good range of veggie menu. The owner and the staff are really helpful. If you are looking for a peaceful, tranquil stay with zero human interface this is the one....

“The road that leads to this place from main gate at Boudha is a long winding narrow, broken road. Be prepared to drag the belongings for a while on a difficult stretch. Only recommended if you like the quiet. Not if you want to be in the middle of things.”
