We slept in the part of the building that is furthest away from the streets and heard absolutely no sound. Rooms were clean and staff friendly. Location in the center of Thamel is perfect. I would definitely visit again.

I was adviced by a friend who was there a few months ago. Having just a few days in Kathmandiu this was a very good choice. The hotel is conveniently located in the center of Thamel, and I was lucky to have a corner room with two different views. The room was not really big, but I found the bed...

We stayed here for one night as part of a package deal. We were unfortunate to get a room on the bottom floor adjacent to the outdoor patio and the kitchen. It was a very cramped room, with about 12 inches on either side of the bed. I could deal with the size, but I couldn't deal with the noise....

Booked this hotel 30 minutes before check-in from Hotel.com, then when I arrive I show them the email, and they said they have no room. Later they sent us to some other crappy hotel!(But I eventually came back and stayed 1 night.)

I was booked in to this hotel by our tour company. We stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of our trek. It is situated in excellent location of Thamel, no in the center with crowd, hidden down an alley. Courtyard was very inviting and overall a quiet place to sit, away from the hustle and bustle of...

Excellent hotel with excellent location at Thamel. Rooms were clean with satellite TV and electricity worked fine in the mornings and evenings. Only complain was food at the restaurant. That is why we only ate breakfast. Lunch we ate only once. People at the hotel were super nice and helpful all the time.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and with good food right on sight. It's also convenient to Mandela Square - a nice place to eat/shop without so much competition from cars as you walk down the otherwise busy streets.

We were surpised nice of the Thamal Eco hotel. The rooms were big enough, with hot water shower and satellite tv. The beds were comfortable. The holl and ambiance was very decorative in the Budda style similar to the restored district "Dobra Square" set up. The atmosphere in the hotel seemed very reassuring though it was the middle of the...

We stayed in this hotel as a part of our trekking to everest base camp in March 2014. This hotel is situated about 30-45 mins from the airport through hustle and bustle of Kathmandu City, in touristic area of Thamel where the streets are a shopping capital for Trekkers and for all those bargains. The hotel has few floors and...

A great place to stay in the busy Thamel district. Down a small street it is a haven away from the hustle and bustle. A well kept courtyard and garden to sit and relax or enjoy a meal and a drink. Rooms vary in size with the bigger and better ones on the upper floors. Room 503 was the best...
