Stayed here one night pre-trek. Staff was very nice and the breakfast buffet was delicious. There was plenty of hot water for showers also, which can be an issue in Nepal. The decor in the room was a bit tired and the bathroom, not so great. I do think the room was a bit overpriced compared to most other places...

Majority of staff very attentive and a great breakfast choice. Lots of stairs but staff will handle baggage willingly. On my return from trek aws given a better ,lower room on request. Only downside was linens although clean were very discoloured.

The breakfast yogurt was the best I tasted in Nepal! Great views from the decks on each floor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It is just a short walk to the lake and the main shopping streets.

Ask and you will receive is all you need to do. Breakfast was good with a big choice. It is centrally situated...

We had a wonderful stay and a perfect room 405:) Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel have a very nice courtyard as well. The location is perfect - close to everything, shopping and restaurants just 50 m. away, but still nice and peaceful:)

Three friends and I stayed at Thamel Eco Resort last month before and after a trek. It's the second time I've stayed there and had a great experience both times. Despite being in the middle of busy Thamel, it feels very secluded and quiet. The customer service is excellent. Highly recommended.

Location is great and being off the street, it is relatively silent (roosters are still up early but it's normal!) It s clean. Warm water takes soon long to come or is not available that you can doubt there is some. Breakfast is not really great. The name Eco resort is purely arresting and doesn't translate into reality.
