Stayed in three different hotels in Kathmandu and this one was the best value. ROOM- We had a room on the top floor (5th floor, no lift... But I'd be a bit nervous about a lift in Kathmandu given the power surges etc). There is a lovely sunny terrace filled with flower pots outside the 5th floor bedrooms and in...

The staff at the hotel is just amazing, and if it's not enough, they are also related to many Community social organizations! Shiva, the executive director, has connected me to this volunteering activity in a community school here in Kathmandu, it was just an AMAZING experience. for those who are looking for really good hotel and a chance to experience...

My friends from Canada and Germany visited Kathmandu and stayed in this hotel for 4 days. We found family and friends in this hotel: owners are so welcoming, staff are friendly, rooms are nice and clean as well as great food served. Most of all prices are very affordable for the 5* level of service provided. My friends and I...

Our experiences at the Kathmandu Grand could not have been better. We initially stayed for 3 days prior to our trek. The Grand is in the heart of Thamel but the rooms were exceptionally quiet. The location offers wonderful (walking) access to many great sites. The staff are warm, friendly, informative and helpful. Shiva (the Director), Sohan (Manager), Suzy (front...

I love this place. The staff was excellent. They really went above and beyond to make every part of the stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable. You won't be able to find a better place to stay in Kathmandu. Word of advice, go to Bhaktapur and eat all of the Juju-dhau (King of all yogurt) your belly can...

After reading reviews of this hotel, we decided to change to it from a different hotel where our tour ended. I'm glad we did. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The breakfast was quite good and the staff were very helpful. We stayed in Room 501 which requires a bit of a climb up the stairs but it is...
