Amazing location, right next to the river neighboring the borders of the national park. The room was clean and spacious, nicely furnished in tropical theme, the only problem was the electricity outage, which from my understanding is a common problem everywhere in Nepal. The best part is that from the hotel premises you can see great sunsets and sunrises and...

Our experience in Chitwan and, in particular, at the Chitwan Riverside Resort, was memorable. Staff at the resort are warm and helpful to the extreme. Rooms are spotless and have wonderful views and value for money is unbeatable. Yet the best asset of the resort in our opinion was the welcome at the reception; they welcomed us as if we...

While Solo Backpacking though Nepal I decided to stay here while in Chitwan and I'm glad I did. Most backpackers tend to stay in town but I'm glad I spent a few extra rupees and stayed here. It's located a few minutes walk from the noisy bazaar on the riverbank across the Chitwan Nature Reserve. You have excellent chances to...

Location: Right on the river and in lovely surroundings. You can watch the river and it's life just pass you by. Be prepared for an arduous journey if coming from Kathmandu, it take at least 6-7 hours due to road construction. It's so, so dusty. Buy a face mask for the journey. Staff: All were very friendly. They ran bottles...

This is a basic lodge located right on the river opposite the National Park. The room was very basic but clean and not serviced every day. The bathroom was not very clean and the plumbing left a lot to be desired. However, the staff were very attentive and helpful and the "all inclusive" food was basic but quite reasonable. The...

This is a lovely riverside spot with a pretty garden, both making it a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Our riverside room was very nice and very clean. Unfortunately the level of English prevented this from being a 5 star review as communication was made a little too difficult. The other frustration was the impossibility to book online....

Chitwan is a small town in the middle of a forest. This hotel is located right on the banks of the river flowing through the forest region. Rooms are like small cottage rooms, quite comfortable and sitting outside your room, you can spot wild animals coming to the river for a drink or a bath. It is a truly enriching...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a package. Was not too bad at all. Location is fairly close tp the main street of Chitwan, 5min walk. The room was ok, normal Nepali hard bed, ok bathroom. The gardens were immaculate and very nice on a warm day. The riverside seating area was also tranquil. The food was passable,...

We stayed at the Chitwan Riverside Resort for two nights when visiting the Chitwan National Park. It was included in our travel pack (hotel, full pension, activities, ...) and the price was reasonable for what we received. The food at the hotel was decent and the staff was helpful. Its location is definitely a plus because you get the chance...
