This was the first place we stayed on our trip to Nepal, and it was nice. The room was spacious, the roof terrace was beautiful and the staff were lovely. We were picked up from the airport, which was a surprise that we hadn't expected, but we didn't realise it was a taxi until about half an hour after we...

This hotel is in the heart of Thamel district, but fortunately in a relatively more quiet street. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Rooms that have en-suite offer a good shower. Staff are friendly. Rooftop is pleasant. Breakfast acceptable. Overall for a budget range hotel i think this is excellent value for money.

I trekked around Nepal for 3.5 months in Aug-Nov 2015 and every time I went back to Kathmandu between treks, I went back to the Holy Lodge. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The showers are hot. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is basic and food is so-so. The rooftop garden is a great place to...

Stayed one night here. I got a three person room for myself with a TV and aircon. The aircon didn't work. The toilet didn't flush (I used a bucket to flush it). The shower was very strange and I couldn't get warm water. WiFi worked very well.

I stayed in the Holy Lodge 3 years ago. I enjoyed staying there because it was central, clean and the staff was nice. I always though it was a bit to expensive here. When I came back to Kathmandu after all this time I decided to go with the familiar option and went straight to the Holy Lodge. They charged...

This hotel is very comfortable. Owner organized my tour including trekking, guide staff, paragliding, hotel and anything I want. That is quite flexible and reasonable for me. But I think the best point of this hotel is staff. They are so kind and friendly. They also can speak English and Japanese very well. I had so much fun. I hope...

We stayed in the hotel for over a week. Booked with them all the trips around Nepal. Everything was better than great. Not overpriced, very well organised, on time and really interesting, just the way we wanted. Hotel is clean, specious, can't imagine better location in Kathmandu than Holy Lodge. People working in there very friendly and helpful. We get...

We stayed here for 4 nights in Oct 14. Rooms were basic enough but clean and perfect for what we wanted. Staff were very friendly. We paid €10 for the budget room, however we given the wrong room (a deluxe) so not sure what the budget rooms were like.
