Staff were super helpful, this had the fastest wifi we've had on our trip (Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia), which was great, beds and bathrooms were clean and serviced, hot water, don't press the black switch in the bathroom though haha I got electrocuted. Cool ambience and nice rooms, good value for money. Great location close to the bus station to get...

We stayed just for one night and were very happy with the facilities. The staff were friendly and although a bit basic the rooms were clean and well kept. We had a cooked breakfast in the morning which was very good at a very reasonable price. Would stay there again and recommend to others.

A pool roofed cabana internet space etc. the facilities are good. wifi slow and cut out. i think its rooms are over priced and the value is in...

My friend and I stayed at Lusaka Backpackers when visiting Zambia. The staff arranged for us to have a driver pick us up at the airport and they had drivers readily available to us whenever we needed. We got a private room with a bathroom for our stay. The staff, including Joseph and John were very nice and helpful. The...

The reception staff is friendly enough and helpful when approached with questions. The enterprise seems to be run quite efficiently. A small pitfall is that their credit card machine doesn’t work well. The general vibe of the place is chill and sociable. Most lodgers are young travellers and tend to congregate around the pool area. Many are simply passing through...

HI , great to hear you enjoyed your stay, the chilled atmosphere, and our friendly staff, although I am sorry the credit card machine was giving problems. The self catering kitchen has recently been moved to its new location and still has a few teething problems unfortunately but we are working on them. It will be fully functional in the...

If you're passing through Lusaka, this is a very good option for budget travelers. Private rooms are comfortable with mosquito netting and power to charge your devices. The bar is pretty chill as well. It's also really close to a big mall and the bus station. Staff are helpful in recommending options for further travel as well. Very decent, quiet,...

I stayed for 3 nights in the private place has wifi (but didn't work in my room, only in the common area), offers meals and the staff is really friendly. Also very easy to get to from anywhere in town as all the taxi drivers seem to know it. Would stay here again!

I stayed there for one night. The pool area is quite nice. There is a pool and a bar. The staff were helpful and nice. They picked me up at the airport for Usd 20. I stayed at a dorm. Beds are not the best but at least they have mosquito nets. The toilets and showers are old but clean....

I saw this place listed on the map with doubt, referring to my experience before, and approached with not much to expect. However, even I didn't book before there's still bed for me for 2 nights in the busy time of August (maybe due to election time). Room is clean and tidy, bunkbeds are pretty firm. Staff is friendly and...

If you're looking for simple and very cheap, this place is really good. Actually very comfortable beds (all with mosquito netting) and clean linens. Bring your own towel. Shared showers, toilets, sinks. Tiny, tiny swimming pool. They handled our group of 25 very well, including making arrangements for various parts of our group to catch cabs at different times throughout...
