Buffet dinner was excellent. Great view of the city (if you're on the right side of the hotel, or while eating dinner). Our team only spent one night but it would be a good base for any team working in Kampala.

I stayed at the Namirembe Guest House recently. The location was good. I had a wonderful city view from my room. The only real problems I had with my room were the ants and roaches. I must admit, I hate them both, and was afraid of them getting in my luggage. On my third night of battling this issue, I...

this guest house sits above the city of Kampala, next to the Cathedral. We experienced wonderful hospitality and the rooms are clean and comfortable but basic, Its position is unrivaled. Great place for a quiet drink in the evening after a hectic day in this fast growing capital, wonderful simple breakfast, in our experience always say yes when offered the...

"A million dollar view of Kampala" is the slogan for Namirembe Guest House, perched on a leafy hill above the dust and heat of the city. It is a wonderful view too, in addition to service, rooms and food that are superb value for money. If you want somewhere safe, comfortable and friendly, and aren't bothered by western 5* frills,...

Nice and clean rooms, fantastic view, very friendly staff. Lovely to have breakfast (very good buffet) on the terrace, enjoying the view over Kampala and some bird watching too! Would come back any time.

Rooms are clean. Not well set up for the traveller that needs to work at a laptop. It is nonetheless good value. The food is average but they try hard to please. The view over Kampala is great, just a pity that Kampala is not more picturesque. Highly recommended for the budget traveller. Reasonable wifi at the restaurant.

They were friendly they have great smiles and care very much for the people. The breakfast is included in the price of the night. Order a Spanish omelette with...

Stayed here many times. A Christian guest house with great staff. Its an oasis from the madness of Kampala and has the ability to provide all meals. Its out of central Kampala so may not suit if your looking to be in the heart of things. The rooms are on the basic style, but have western toilets, showers, bed nets,...

Cheap, clean and safe accommodation. Meals come included, which is Ugandan Cuisine in a buffet style and happens at the same time each day. Breakfast is standard, you can ask for specific things, such as omelet etc or 'do it yourself' toast and choices of cereal. It is a large complex, which is mostly used for schools, travellers and/or volunteers....

Namirembe Guest House is a very reasonably priced hotel. It has a great view of kampala, because it's located on the top of a hill. This was the last hotel that was stayed at in Uganda as we were wrapping up our 2 week mission trip. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were comfortable, but not fancy. We...
