I have just revisited Banda Inns. Last time I was here was 2 years ago. It is a lovely, clean, safe, friendly place to stay in Kampala - away from all the congestion of down town and a great place to retreat to. The gardens are still lovely and the breakfast still very good. The rooms are spacious and clean,...

I stayed at Banda Inns on two occasions in March and it was lovely. I had two different rooms, the first was one of the larger upstairs rooms and the second was the smaller room downstairs by the spiral staircase. As a solo female traveller I thought this place was great, I had dinner on my second night there and...

We loved our stay at Banda Inns. Our room was comfortable and quiet, with a hot shower and free wifi. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff even made it early for us one morning when we were leaving Kampala at 6:00 a.m. There's free laundry, which was an amazing perk. It's easy to get shared taxis heading into town from...

Banda Inns is the first place I stayed in Uganda and the last place I'll ever stay. It was my first time on the continent and Banda Inns and the lovely staff served up just the right amount of authentic Ugandan hospitality with dedicated Western flare. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well appointed, the expansive breakfast menu is made...

I stayed in Banda Inns for a month (May-June 2014) and it made a foreign city feel like home. Ours was a group of 13 people from a university, so we were pretty needy. Whatever we needed, Steven and Astaria took care of it. They arranged airport transfers, daily transportation to wherever we needed -- sometimes even picking up very...

I feel very much at home at Banda Inns, having stayed there for 3 weeks in March 2014 and 3 weeks in November 2013 on work assignments. The place itself is very quiet, peaceful and green and located in a central but pleasant area of Kampala (Muyenga). The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Wifi connectivity, power supply and...

My friend and myself stayed one night in Banda Inns. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. Breakfast was excellent; the best in Uganda. The owner Steve is very helpful and friendly and makes you feel at home. We could even leave our luggage (free of charge) whilst we were travelling to Jinja. If you are...

This place is quite hard to find if you are not paying attention. The signs are quite small and hidden. Coming from the Sheraton to Banda Inn is quite an adjustment, but the rooms are clean and had all the amenities. +1 Clean Basic rooms with mosquito nets (try to get the rooms upstairs, more sunlight) The rooms downstairs are...
