I stay here periodically when I travel to Kampala for work- the hotel rooms are clean, each is unique and quaint. Some rooms have private patio areas, and you always have plenty of space. The rooms include a safe, and are decorated nicely so that you feel right at home. The restaurant has decent pasta, and the included breakfast is...

Upon recommendation from a friend, the wife and I went for dinner. We were treated very shabbily. Even simple questions like where may we sit, or may we sit anywhere were considered a waste of time of our attendant who couldn't be bothered. We finally sat and waited for 15 minutes without someone attending to us even though the palce...

We enjoyed our night at this pretty small hotel in Kampala, where we were welcomed by friendly staff. The design and decor are lovely, with the rooms nestled around lush tropical gardens and a tiny pool. The rooms are comfortable with efficient air conditioning and small private verandahs. An extensive breakfast was served elegantly with beautiful tableware and crockery at...

Spent two weeks here and had a lovely time. Really friendly staff, very clean rooms and the garden was well cared for - a true oasis. Highlight was breakfast (eggs, toast, fruit and the occasional yogurt and slice of banana bread) outside under the awning. Reliable taxi option to and from the airport too.

The hotel is located close to a shopping center and a comfortable car ride away from the city center. The rooms are spacious and well-kept with all the amenities you need: tv, wifi, minibar/fridge, mosquito nets for the bed etc. The rooms all feel quite private and are kept clean. The pool is very small and in the middle of...

Fully adapted to Business, even if the internet is a bit slow. great rooms, mosquito nets, and good breakfast. Adapted for 2 business days in Kampala. The rooms are within a garden which brings some kind of Holliday spirit.

Stayed for business. Felt safe and rooms and ambiance very nice. The internet was weak and the restaurant selection is very limited. Service was very good as well. Just across the street from a mall that has a Java and good internet.

If you like stile, if you like green, if you like your privacy, if you like a mediterranean atmosphere, you should book for Bougainviller Hotel. If you prefer something more like an international 5 star hotel with posh lobby, lots of international folks, go somewhere else.
