I spent a very enjoyable week at the Sheraton. I visited for a week long conference and was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency, friendliness and politeness of the entire staff.
The hotel is centrally located in a leafy area close to some acceptable restaurants.
Excellent meeting rooms. Located at the CBD. Excellent Ugandan food (matoke, peanut soup, avocado, beef and fish). Excellent internet connectivity. Nice rooms, coffee, security and wide green lawns with a football pitch.

$$ in these days Kampala has new and fresher places now. Staff need to know what...More

When we were there staying in the hotel we had 8 rooms for 4 nights 5 days we did take a small conference room which was ok to accommodate about 15 - 20 people depending upon how your table setting is going to be. The rent for the room that was paid was USD 500/- a day & one can negotiate for the tea and coffee to be complimentary. If you know your dates please book in advance because most of the times the rooms are pretty much booked. Also if you would need a projector and screen then that all is extra.
