Very tired place with a lot of things needed attention. Namely: 1. bathroom is truly inadequate, no privacy, no hangers, no working lights. 2. TV wasn't working and we found out that you needed to pay extra to watch sat TV. 3. Wifi not in room, only in common areas but very very slow. 4. breakfast completely sub-par, really needs...

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Le Petit Village. We were on holiday in Uganda and spent a few nights in Kampala before heading out to the west. Our banda style room was very comfortable and well appointed and we enjoyed being able to sit on our terrace,or by the pool. The hotel really is like an oasis...

This is a very lovely place, with some rooms beautifully appointed-- especially rooms on the second level. (We looked at a room on the first level which was larger, with a kitchen and living area, but I thought it was ugly and since it had just been sprayed, uninhabitable). Our room was number 10 which has a great shower, a...

Inside the grounds it almost feels like you are far away from the hustle and bustle of Kampala. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the rooms are excellent. There is both a restaurant and bakery on the property. I recommend buying bread if you are heading off for any period of time in Uganda as you will not find this...

Loved the setting. It is actually quite good a place to stay even if not on business. The rooms/villas are self contained with a lounge area cum kitchenettes that can host a self cook out meals. The villas are very clean and well lit. I loved the walkways to the villas, they give you a sense of being in the...

This was a great find as so quiet in contrast to the City - so much appreciated. Great bakery linked to the hotel - makes breakfast a real pleasure! Spent three days here - replying to one of the other comments- felt very safe , supported by colleagues who live there.

This was our first hotel in Uganda and we were positively surprised. The hotel is quaint, it's gardens are beautiful, the service is good, and the food is fine. Given you are in the middle of Kampala one feels comfortable in a surrounding that closer to the feeling of being in a country home.

Really lovely large, thatch roof rooms with an enormous bed, comfy couch, natural stone bathroom and shower and a freestanding bath with feet. Huge glass sliding doors out onto a private balcony with a nice view over the thatch rooftops and hills of the city. It feels like staying in a giant garden, there's lots of birdsong and greenery around....
